Charges of involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment, and aggravated assault were referred to general court marshal Oct. 19, 2007

Yay! It’s a party!!! Phil Brennan tells me that the grand total for the NewsMax fundraisers is well over $500,000. Seems like there’ll be some money coming to Frank from Steve’s fund now that there’s no trial.
Big BUMP to that, Girl!!
OUTSTANDING!
A Half MIL, that’s Fantastic, Red!
I applaud you for your dedication of putting out the truth.
Unlike some other sites that claim they are defending those who are or have been charged by spinning their wheels and being unproductive in their unfounded statements.
You posted ALL info made known to you to get the truth out and didn’t “pretend” to have something EXPLOSIVE.
The families found comfort in your knowledge and support. Thank you for providing the Defend Our Marines site when there was nothing available on these HEROES.
It’s a great day for the Tatum family.
The money quote:
"dismissed with prejudice "
There are things at that link that really piss me off. Thanks!
Red - you have done an AWESOME job in defense of the Haditha Marines, and Girlene, and Smoothsailing as well. OORAH
Roger Hedgecock on KOGO has been talking about the charges being dropped against Tatum on his show: http://www.rogerhedgecock.com/main.html
the local news stations here in So Cal were slow to report the news, KOGO, and 760 am, but the news was on Drudge seconds after it was reported on NC Times.
All Charges dismissed, and His lawyer said there were no deals made....
paging John Murtha!!!! we have some questions for You...You seditious traitor.
Just went and browsed around the JAG sites, but so far have found no new entries detailing the decision; guess it'll take them a few to write it up so they don't look too bad. Dismissal with prejudice is fairly rare as far as I've seen, at least in civilian cases. Basically it means that the prosecution severely over-reached on the charges, and there was little if any supporting evidence for those charges. All good points to go to SSgt. Wunterich's favour.
Congratulations, all -- I am sure that your involvement added weight to the good outcome of this and the other cases. Thank you.
"..Tatum's attorney, Jack Zimmerman, said there was no agreement with the government before the dismissal.
"Absolutely, there is no deal," he said.
Zimmerman said Tatum would testify if called as a witness in future trials but that he would testify as a neutral witness, not a government witness..."
Pinging you to #153. Good one, cookcounty.
The best news I have heard in a long time! Thanks for making my day:)
will Fat Jack Murfa apologize? and will the people of Virginia re-elect this monster when he runs again? bring back George Allen to the Virginia Senate
Your site made the Blog at Thomas More's Blog ^; well done!
The prosecutor in this case simply wishes none of this stuff ever happened.
While these Marines have no civil cause of action against the prosecutor, they sure have one against the "shadow group" conspiring to have these innicent men prosecuted.
Bump!
