LOL!
At least I got the name right. :-)
Patterson is a coke head, filanderer, and made numerous inappropriate charges on his state account for trysts with his floosies. And he wont push for prosecution of Spitzer for troopergate. And all this was dug up in just a week. Patterson is a gift that keeps on giving.
Be sure to catch the next edition of "To Catch a Predator."
Watta guy---ol' Dave set a new record in corrupt Dimocrat circles.
Paterson went from backbencher to governor to impeached felon in record time.
Paterson has admitted using cocaine, spent campaign dollars to pay for suits, furniture and hotel stays with state aides he was porking; spent nearly $5,000 of his election war chest on flowers and charged his campaign for trinkets at Tiffany's and Bloomingdale's.
And Paterson hasn't even started porking all the chicks in the governor's office, yet....God knows how much that'll cost taxpayers. Patterson's flower budget includes at least 100 orders to 1-800-FLOWERS since August 2001, according to state campaign finance records. Paterson's staff could not produce documents to explain the purchases. The Jan. 20, 2003, flower bills suggested former state Sen. Ada Smith received one order of flowers. Patrice Lamelle, an employee with the Department of State, got the other.
Such purchases came under sudden scrutiny when Paterson copped to carrying on extramarital affairs with several women in years past and said he might have funded at least one tryst with his campaign credit card. Paterson later agreed to reimburse his campaign $252.17 for two nights in the Quality Inn on West 94th Street after his staff failed to find records of campaign aides staying there. Paterson also disclosed that he reimbursed his campaign for $2,138 in clothing and furniture.

Ousted NY Assemblyman and corrupt Dem party boss Clarence Norman Norman was tried, convicted, and received successive jail-terms for similar campaign transgressions Paterson admits to. Norman used campaign funds for pricey clothes and shoes.....and more.
DID PATERSON DO THIS? (1) Norman was tried for filing vouchers for travel expenses with the Assembly even though the County Democratic Party had already footed the bill. (2) Norman was sentenced to 2-6 years in prison for not reporting thousands of dollars in in-kind political contributions and pocketing a $5,000 check intended for his re-election committee.
NORMAN DUE THIRD TRIAL NY POST
By ZACH HABERMAN Feb 15, 2006
Clarence Norman, the dethroned Brooklyn Democratic Party boss, convicted twice last year of skirting campaign-finance rules, will now face his third criminal trial in less than seven months. Norman is accused of filing vouchers for travel expenses with the Assembly even though the Kings County Democratic Party had already footed the bill. He allegedly pulled off the penny-pinching scheme at least 76 times for a total of $5,585. Norman was sentenced 2-6 years in prison for not reporting thousands of dollars in in-kind political contributions and pocketing a $5,000 check intended for his re-election committee. Norman also faces a fourth indictment for strong-arming judicial candidates into using specific people to print their campaign literature.
You can't make this stuff up.
...Lila Kirton, who Cockfield said is someone the governor knows and trusts to assist him with his disability. Paterson is legally blind. New York media outlets...say Kirton was one of Paterson's lovers.
Paterson may be legally blind, but according to gossip columnist Cindy Adams, he can spot a passing tray of hors d'oeuvres at fancy parties and pluck a canapé from it with no problem...and with no help.
I am!!!!
It has a certain elegant simplicity.
Aw geez, thanks (blush).
The Public Integrity Unit, under Attorney General of New York State Andrew Cuomo-D, brings civil and criminal actions to vindicate the publics interest in honest government and the integrity of governmental officials at the state and local level. Specifically, the Unit handles complex investigations into government corruption, fraud and abuse of authority. Among other statutes, the Unit enforces the "Tweed Law" (N.Y. Exec. Law 63-c) which broadly empowers the Attorney General to bring suit to recover any governmental funds (state or local) that have been "without right obtained."
The Office of Attorney General of New York State is an elected position not appointed. Honesty and Democrat can be used in the same sentence with Andrew Cuomo. Governor Patterson does not decide on prosecutions and Patterson's own days may be numbered.
Isn’t it illegal to use state funds for political purposes?
