This much we know about Saddam Hussein and his regime, before and after 9/11:
* they trained thousands of terrorists.
* they harbored Abu Abbas and Abu Nidal.
* they hid and paid an Iraqi who participated in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.
* they paid the families of Palestinian martyrs.
* they were "willing to co-opt or support organizations" Saddam Hussein "knew to be part of al Qaeda."
* they tortured, raped, and murdered hundreds of thousands of Iraqis.
* they tolerated the presence in Iraq of the Osama bin Laden funded and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi led terrorist organization, Ansar al-Islam. That group murdered Kurds after 9/11 and before March 20, 2003, then morphed into al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) and killed many Americans and Iraqis after our invasion of Iraq.

Ping!
Only fools assess as ‘none’ Saddam Hussein’s ties to al-Qaeda. No “smoking gun” direct tie to 9/11 needs found, Saddam and his regime did much to create the conditions for that day of infamy to occur.
Is it true that more soldiers died under Clinton’s watch than Bush 43?
As I said earlier, in WWII anticipated 325,000 casualties in the first 120 days, just to put it into perspective.
The difference between electing Dinkins and Giuliani in 4 years of murders is more lives than we have lost in Iraq in 5 for all causes.
For the invasion of Japan I mean...........
American realists would like to leave a safe Country for her children. The idiot left could care less. The most detestable group of idiots on the planet.
Interesting.....
Prayers up for our soldiers, allies, vets, families and friends.
Amen!
Almost 8,000 died in the 3 day Battle of Gettysburg during the Civil War.
I strongly object to the use of the expression “Palestinian martyrs” in that article.

The left should quote the numbers of terrorists dead or captured, and most importantly, American civilian lives saved which has no price. Or better yet, they should count the number of liberal Democrats who would lift a finger to help out someone else: 0
Here’s the thing:
The war in Iraq and Afghanistan is a political asset or liability to liberals. They see EVERYTHING as political assets or liabilities.
To the professional liberals, men’s lives can only be viewed through a political prism.
To the professional liberals, National Defense is not viewed on its own merits, but in the primary consideration is subjected to the calculus of how many votes are won or lost in a contract/base closing, number of divisions that can be deactivated, ships mothballed and aircraft acquisitions reduced in order to fund social programs or combat quasi-religious things like global warming.
There are a lot of people who blindly follow their leaders on this and take their cues from them on what opinions to form and what stance to take. But the professionals see everything that way.
The big difference is that conservatism at its heart can ACT, but liberalism at its heart must FEEL.
Note: Conservatives are just as avid at analyzing the political facet of things. It is just that conservatives will occasionally act on things that political negatives. Liberals cannot do that.
So noted; correction made in the original post.
Thanks.
Imagine how many terrorist have been eliminated in the bug zapper in Iraq.Thats less bugs that are going to cause trouble here at home.
To any Freepers that may have lost a love one while serving in the military please except my condolences.I don't want you too think I take the loss of your loved ones lightly.
4,000 of our heroes killed in the WOT. 3,000 civilians murdered in 2 hours 45 minutes on 9/11 ON OUR OWN SOIL!
Strange how the MSM conviently leaves that piece of most accurate information out of the equation.
MSM plays the numbers game and seemingly trivializes the 2,800 lives lost on 9/11 as a result of the terrorists.
Read somewhere that more military died under the Clinton administration, also more under Reagan and Carter ...... actually think it was here .....
