That was a strange experience...watching that sermon.
An embarrassment.
This guy, Fr. Michael Pfleger, has been running a renigade parish for 20 years now. About 3 years ago the Cardinal told him that he was going to be transferred to a different assignment, but Fr. Pfleger said he wouldn’t go and that he would leave the church and take the parish with him if the Cardinal tried to follow through.
The Cardinal went back to his office with his tail between his legs and hasn’t brought up the subject since to my knowledge.

I have a hunch that he is sexually active in some direction and embessels. He is the absolute king of that Parish and answers to no one above him. He is a rock star who is friends with Jesse Jackson, and all the others. There isn’t a black rable rousser that hasn’t been a guest speaker at his parish.

Sounds like he needs to be excommunicated. If the archbishop will not deal with this then perhaps the diocese needs a new leader.
This priest sounds like that one in DC maybe 20 years ago who started making the mass more “Afro centric” and finally ended up saying he ho longer had allegiance to the official RC church. He was excommunicated and formed his own church. I guess a lot of his parishioners went with him.
I wonder if this is his preaching style in his parish church. Or was this an affectation he put on for this audience. Amazing if the former, patronizing if the latter. And can a Catholic priest have in common with Faracon?
