Hillary Clinton's strategists are delighted at what they consider Barack Obama's latest stumble in the hypersensitive world of racial politics.
Obama is drawing a new round of criticism for his comments on a Philadelphia radio sports program yesterday in which he said his grandmother is a "typical white person" who has fears about black men. He was attempting to explain a portion of his speech on race earlier this week—specifically, the statement that his white grandmother gets nervous when a black man approaches her on the street.
Obama told the radio host, "The point I was making was not that Grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn't. But she is a typical white person, who, if she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know, you know, there's a reaction that's been bred in our experiences that don't go away and that sometimes come out in the wrong way, and that's just the nature of race in our society." Obama was already drawing flak for his association with a controversial preacher in Chicago who has made anti-American and antiwhite comments.
An Obama spokesman noted that the Illinois senator was trying to say that his grandmother has the same fears shared by many in her "generation."
Clinton insiders say Obama's remarks stereotyped whites in a negative way and will further alienate white working-class people around the country, including those in Pennsylvania, which holds a key primary April 22. Obama's remarks are being criticized on Fox News, NBC, MSNBC, and elsewhere in the media, keeping the controversy going. Clinton strategists say it's part of a broader problem—that Obama has not been sufficiently "vetted" and there are many areas of his life and background that have escaped scrutiny and might embarrass him later.
It’s not racist to be afraid of someone who’s actively intimidating you, as was the case with Obama’s grandmother. If it had been a white guy demanding money, would grandma have an unfounded fear of men?
A fear not unfounded, i.e., the recent horrendous murder of two young female white college students, one in GA the other in NC, both by black punks.
I have news for you, the KKK has not been a significant group for decades, its heyday was the 1930s.
This just proves that if you’re Black, you can say anything you want about race and NOT be called a racist......if you’re white, anything you say about race, makes you a racist....sadly I believe that Obama is making this country MORE racist, not less..........
Crime statistics, the whole “thug life” attitude projected by black youth, the street ‘poetry’ of rap music that espouses hate/rage/anger, and, sadly now, even the Sunday sermonizing that is supposed to spiritually equip an individual for overcoming all these “lusts of the flesh”—all of this tells, not the typical “white” person, but the typical person, walk on the other side of the street, avoid that mall after 8pm, don’t make eye-contact, etc.
Obama, in talking about racism, conveniently skips over this little item. His grandmother didn’t fear that black man because of her racist attitudes. Her race-conscious antennae were up and working because of the reaction of too, too many blacks to the issue of racism. Her purse-clutching may have been a wrong response to that particular individual (would like to know the context—was it any time around the mid 60’s when some of America’s cities were on fire as a result of riots?), but, given today’s climate to not take certain “precautions” would be akin to a soldier patrolling the streets of Iraq expecting calm and peace. It might happen, but you don’t count on it.
I would be proud if Obama, Michelle, Wright, the United Trinity Church congregation and all empathizers would take a one way ticket to their alleged Motherland for eternity.
I believe Michelle feels that the (Honkies) are getting obstreperous.

We have yet to see any of the self-appointed Black leaders decrying those two murders involving Black on White crime in America.
I believe this is a (typical example) of “as long as it ain’t no “Bro or a Ho” being murdered by a (Honkey) type attitude.
An Auburn University White female student was killed by a Black thug(Domestic Terrorist) in Auburn, Alabama a few weeks back.
We should wonder why Obuma failed to condemn this type of racial hatred against Whites. Obuma, is that type of conduct inbred/condoned in the majority all Black families, or just your supporters/church members??????????????
