Listen for a few minutes to Joey Vento, owner of a south Philadelphia institution that serves gut-busting sandwiches through a takeaway hatch, and the scale of Barack Obama's problems become apparent. Obama is having the worst week of his campaign. It is, some believe, a week that threatens his chances of becoming president.
"That minister, that was terrible, all his sayings. He's preaching hatred," Vento said. "The thing I didn't like about Obama; you're telling me for 20 years you been going to that church and you never heard that?"
Vento, 68, was speaking about Obama's former pastor and spiritual adviser, Jeremiah Wright, whose sermons have been aired repeatedly on US television denouncing the US as racist.
The clips have alienated the white voters, such as Vento, that Obama needs in his next contest with Hillary Clinton, to be held in Philadephia and the other towns and cities of Pennsylvania on April 22. But it goes further than that. The danger for Obama is not just that he could lose badly in Pennsylvania but that senior Democrats will wonder whether the loss of white votes could cost him the November general election.
Phil Singer, spokesman for Clinton, told reporters: "It's no secret that the Obama campaign is in political hot water."
Obama attempted to defuse the escalating row with a speech on Tuesday in Philadelphia in which he spoke in detail about his relationship with Wright and race in the US. It was widely acknowledged as one of his best. He wrote it on Monday night after his wife, Michelle, and their children had gone to bed. Although acclaimed by the media and political activists, his speech has failed to win over voters such as Vento.
Obama has since redoubled his efforts. Usually reluctant to offer himself up for interview,

Consider: every candidate who had done the necessary spying (the Clintons being, of course, Master Spies)(at least on their American opponents) knew about this, including the GOP candidates (about whom more later).
Bill took one for the cause: he's now Persona-non-Grata (sort of). But he succeeded: Obama went from around 50% of the black vote to 90% and the white vote similarly went to Hillary.
So it was now Time to Drop the Bomb.
ABC, which was always Bending Over for Bill, did the Dirty.
So Hillary will win very much on the dirty.
Now, McCain etal knew all this very well, but of course vouldn't use it during the primaries. Had Obama ("Half Honkey, All Donkey") won the Jackass nomination, the "Reverend" Wright's hate speech would have hit the Prime Time immediately.
It has only hit Prime Time now in that it gives advantage to Her Heinous.
Just speculation...
for 20 years you been going to that church
George Brooks, a cook in the A1 Soul Food truck, parked on the street in front of the Temple University campus in north Philadelphia, said Wright's comments reflected the thinking of many African-Americans. "That's the way we think, as a people," said Brooks. "It may be a big thing to the white race, but you know, these things happened to us. All these things that he's talking about happened to us."
It's not his racist pastor. It's his racist church.
The congregation cheered and celebrated his rants.
Obama wants you to believe not only that he didn't hear these things from Wright directly, but that he was in the environment that celebrated them for 20 years and somehow was unaware.
The church grew around Wright, it reflected his views and positions. Obama's contact with Wright is a deception, and not the true issue-- Obama is saying he attended the organization built on Wright's teaching and still didn't know. His defense is, basically, that he's utterly naive...which is unacceptable in a President.
I didn’t like the looks of the ones I’ve seen on eBay.
If you see any good looking ones, ping me, and I’ll do likewise.
Hussein would have us "typical white people" to believe he could for twenty years, tolerate the ranting of a hate spewing, anti American racial bigot. None of this hate would ever infect the views of this aspiring politician. That is completely absurd and is less than believable.
The cowardly reluctance by the msm to fully vet this candidate is not only irresponsible, it is un American. Hussein is not the candidate to deliver this longing for racial unity. He acknowledges racial division and will not improve the future for relations by becoming potus....
It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue.
I would think they would be stampeding away.
Boo Hoo!
TYPICAL.
I suspect there’s a fair amount of accuracy in your speculation...
Each time I hear the name Obama or see him that kiddie song ...Liar, liar pants on fire goes through my head.
It's bred into us, after all.
That does raise another question, though. If white racism really is bred into us like Obama says and there is a racist gene, it must be a genetic disease and disability and should be protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
I can see it now. Employers having to provide reasonable accommodations for racists, having to provide separate but equal facilities because minorities make whitey feel uneasy.
Hillary on one side, "whitey" on the other. OsamaObama is going to squirm, duck, flipflop, tapdance and weave for months ... and I'm going to relish every second of it. What a chump! Bwahahahahaha!
Folks.....will simply have to come to terms with the reality...
Obama is worse than a fraud.
Obama is a black racist.
Obama is worse than a socialist - he’s a Marxist.
Obama is a con artist of no accomplishments worthy of the Presidency.
Obama is more than “audacious” he is shockingly presumptuous.
Obama’s promise to immediatly withdraw from Iraq, benefits our enemy - not America.
Obama’s base is made up of the worse our society has to offer: the poor, the “entitled”, the perverts and the stupid.
The clincher -— if the New York Times, L.A.Times, Kennedys, Kerrys, Muslims, rappers and Hollywood are for Obama —— LOOK OUT!
I should have thought of cafepress.
