Clinton appointee involved in passport breach?

At least one source is reporting that the State Department official in charge of the department during breaches into Sen. Barack Obama's passport files has a direct tie to Bill and Hillary Clinton.
According to Capitol Hill Blue:
Maura Harty was in charge of the Bureau Of Consular Affairs during the first two breaches of Obama's passport. Former President Bill Clinton appointed her to an ambassadorship during his Presidency.Harty retired last month from the State Department. She joined the State Department in 2002 after serving as ambassador to Paraguay for two years of Bill Clinton's Presidential term. Sources within the State Department told Capitol Hill Blue this morning that revelations of the first two passport breaches surfaced only after Harty left her State Department job.
Meanwhile, over at National Review, Jim Geraghty notes that some Clinton staff members and supporters have been asking questions about Obama's travel records for a while now.
Coincidence? It's hard to say, but Hillary does have a record of snooping in the private files of her political opponents.

From what I’ve read, all three candidates had their passport files looked at.the breach against Obama and McCain is of a different nature than the one against Clinton
the Clinton breach occurred in summer 2007 during a training exercise in which employees were asked to search the electronic file by entering a name. While the employees were encouraged to enter family names, one employee entered Clinton’s name.

And if things are this loosey-goosey at the State Department, I want to know how I can be sure that mine & my wife's Passport information isn't being used RIGHT NOW by a young terrorist couple flying into New York from Athens...
or a young Mexican couple flying into Houston today from Cancun...
And so should every other Citizen who has Passport information on file at the State Dept. want to know...
