It seems the more Barack Obama tries to explain the peculiar statement he made Tuesday concerning his white grandmother's "fear of black men who passed by her on the street," the more he's assuring attention regarding the matter.
Though it remains to be seen how much focus a media clearly looking to move beyond this subject will devote to it, Obama called into a Philadelphia sports radio station on Thursday [1] making comments that, if publicized, might get him in even more trouble with white voters.
As transcribed [2] by Breitbart moments ago (audio available here [3]): "The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity. But she is a typical white person. If she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know. . .there's a reaction in her that doesn't go away and it comes out in the wrong way."
Wow. Is this really how a "typical white person" behaves? Shame on me for being so cordial all these years to folks I didn't know.
Regardless of my seeming ignorance of how the "typical white person" is supposed to behave around strangers, one wonders if Obama's declaration will be the subject of great debate and discussion by press members in the next 24 hours, or if it will be ignored by media desperately looking to get off this topic for the junior senator's sake?

If McCain had said “typical black person” the world would stop.
Now that Obama is actually in a competitive race it appears that he is quickly becoming ‘unclean’ in political terms.
How would he know what it *typical* of white people?
He’s just digging himself in deeper.

FBI stats say that black Americans assault white Americans from 40-50 times more often than the reverse. Anyone who ignores such real-world data is being naive. If many whites are hesitant about being around blacks, it is based on reality.
This B. Hussein O. guy sure knows how to use black colors to paint himself into a corner.
That was probably not true about his grandma, but many blacks who were brought to America as slaves were indeed bred by the slave owner to produce superior workers.
The strongest black male or for intelligence (supposedly) the owner (slave master) would mate with all the women to produce a more superior slaves.
Even with that, granted we got some great future better Olympic athletes, but I don’t think you breed ideas that way.
Some do it with racist churches though.

And besides, in my city, Idare anybody to tell me where I can and cannot go. It’s my city and I pay taxes and I am mean too. I go where I want especially if it’s business.
