I thought that he was rather intelligent despite his horrid world view. However, suggesting that his white grandmother,who took him in, was a bigot because someone scared her is stupid. Is is not human nature to tend toward the familiar and away from the unfamiliar? Isn’t that why McDonalds has served billions? And didn’t Obama’s book describe his grandmother as being afraid of an aggressive black pan-handler? This idea that white people are supposed to be colorblind except for handing out affirmative action money and that blacks can hate whitey for some perceived slight or some ancestoral crime is just plain idiotic.

That’s not how the incident is described in Mr. Obama’s first autobiography, “Dreams From My Father,” p 46:

This is a weird anecdote on several levels. At the very least it is hard to see how Mrs. Dunham’s fears were not justified.
Moreover, Obama puts the charge of racism in the mouth of his now deceased grandfather, who in the book seemed to delight in discovering racism in everyone.
Meanwhile, his grandmother is being carefully sequestered from the media.
But isn’t it amazing that Mr. Obama is happy to call his sainted grandmother who raised him a racist, but he still can’t bring himself to say that Mr. Wright is one? Weren’t Mr. Wright’s racist comments also “a fist in his stomach”? Isn’t Mr. Obama half white?

The improper use of the term “inbred” reveals Obama’s inferior intellectual capacity. Whites do not “breed” “fear of black men” into their offspring. It is not even biologically possible.
That said, “fear of black men” particularly young, unsupervised ones is a reasonable mindset. This according to decades of crime statistics sliced any way imaginable.
The Bible has a concept called original sin. Very slyly, Obama is trying to establish the concept of original racism. Obama is saying that he was first exposed to racism from a white person, albeit his Granny. And the MSM punditry is overusing and misusing the word “context” to describe Obama’s speech. The “context” that he is trying to establish is, do not believe your lying eyes when you see the Wright video and his hatred of America and his hatred of all that is white in America, because the larger “context” is in Obama’a lecture, is that Whitey was a racist first, even in his own “exotic’ experience, and what you see on video is not hatred but the understandable anger over “original” racism. It is a crock, but is a crock that the MSM has no shame in serving up something as very sublime instead of the crock that it is.
Jesse Jackson must be a typical white person too since he said the same thing about fearing young black men.
There are plenty of black women living alone with their children in cruddy ghetto public housing who fear black men as well. Now, according to the great authority Obama, they must be typical white people as well.
