Illinois State Sen. James Meeks:
"We don't have slave masters, we got mayors," Meeks said then while preaching. "But they are still the same white people who are presiding over systems where black people are not able to be educated. You got some preachers that are house n------. You got some elected officials that are house n------. Rather than them try and break this up, they're gonna fight you to protect that white man."
That was back in 2006. Since then, Meeks, an Obama pledged delegate, has backed off his word choice:
Shortly after Flannery's story aired two years ago, Rev. Jesse Jackson said it was time to stop using the N-word. And Rev. Meeks announced from his South Side pulpit that he was "retiring" the N-word from his vocabulary.
Meeks' aired remarks resurfaced on Hannity & Colmes last night -- according to CBS Chicago, which originally reported the story in 2006, "without permission."
Although Meeks is associated with Obama, this doesn't seem like another Wright scandal. With Wright, the problem for Obama is explaining a 20-year relationship. But what Meeks does remind of us of is that Wright hardly had a monopoly on incendiary preaching in the Windy City.
That feller sure uses some tart language.
Super delegates are going to rethink and they are going to go with Hillary.
The race baiting reverend and mentor ...has had its effect.
Now, I forget, why the need to bleep out that word? We didn’t say it.
I’ve got a thread going on this.

I’m hoping the MSM will pick up on this - like the Wright story - and run with it.
Obama has wrapped himself up in religous racist rhetoric and now.....
...the chickens are coming home to roost.
White super delegates are going to rethink and they are going to go with Hillary.
There I fixed it.
Dems think?
Don’t know, but I certainly HOPE the “super-delegates” give the nomination to Hillary!. I’d LOVE to see a civil war in the Democrat party.
I think it is more likely that they will go to a third person (AlGore, anybody?) to try heading that off.
It won't be Algore though, because that would put him in a position where he'd have to defend his global warming fraud.
He would lose that argument and the big money that he's currently raking in on the fraud.
“We don’t have slave masters, we got mayors,” Meeks said then while preaching. “But they are still the same white people who are presiding over systems where black people are not able to be educated. You got some preachers that are house n———. You got some elected officials that are house n———. Rather than them try and break this up, they’re gonna fight you to protect that white man.”” - Meeks
Okay, after having said that, what is Meek’s proposal for going forward for blacks and whites. All I have been able to glean from Cone’s, Wright’s, and Meek’s diatribes is racism at its worst. I sense that non-blacks are left in the same position as non-islamofascists are when a dialog is initiated. The “unwashed”, in both cases, want to compromise; the Black theologists and the islamofascists want to destroy Western Civilization as we know it. If it is not a race war that they are brewing, what then? After 40 years of Great Society, affirmative action, quotas, and welfare; Whitey can’t be shamed into many more concessions.
As long as this “black theology” tambourine thumping stays in the churches and is for the congregation’s consumption it is just a thing to be pitied by society at large. If it is taken to the streets, that’ll be something else.
Perhaps Obama is being treated unfairly by the press and the Dem elite.
If he’s run over roughshod at the convention, I would suggest that he run independently...to give voice to his supporters.
Good idea! He can run on the New Black Panther Party ticket.
I live in a town that rioted back in the 60’s and never recovered from it. While I do enjoy the Dems getting down and dirty, I’m not looking forward to anything that might bring that level of divisiveness.
These guys are like someone taking 30 years to get out of high school and blaming it on the teachers.
I’ve seen a few (small) riots from the inside. No fun; I never thought I could run that fast.
But I like the idea of some liberal city or cities getting torn up and the Democrat Party splitting along racial lines.
Will that be a house or a yard white male?
Are those chickens coming home to a roost or a roast?
