In a rural area, they probably got high fives, and thumbs up, which they deserve. I live South of Atlanta, nice family neighborhood, used to rural. Close by, there is a business that has a giant flag that flies next to the interstate. As you might have guessed, the leftist nutballs have done everything to get it taken down. So far, they failed in every attempt.
I’ve tried garnering some interest in walking one or two of the local recruiting stations here, but no one seems to care.
I think I’ll do a one man crowd then. Since my uniform shrunk (lol), I’ll just wear my DAV cap, and hold up a sign.
Any time people attack the very foundations upon which this country was founded, which is evident because of the attacks upon our very source of defense, then yes very bad times are on the horizon.
Amusing catch. I meant “peaceful protests”, which are a very American thing to do. It’s the non-peaceful ones (deliberate, spontaneous, or averted) that are decidedly not.
Look at Europe, specifically England. We are socially on the same track but about ten years behind. Our youth are, for the most part, uneducated, self indulgent, sheltered, headonistic, narcissists. Kinda like their parents but worse.

You got that right and despite what the liberal media says, we are the majority. Just check out the ratings of conservative vs. liberal media in the last two years. This should tell you something.

Are you referring to registering with the Selective Service System? Males ages 18 thru 25 living in the U.S. are required to register, regardless of citizenship status.

I’m referring to the fact that Congress unilaterally declared, generally speaking, all males age 17-45 part of the US militia.
There are times when, having been tasked with defending one’s country, one must act on that duty without sitting around waiting for orders.

Somehow I missed that in the news, and I consider myself a hawk.
Looks like we’re gonna be taking a trip to the gun shop and then the shooting range. It’s been many years since I went hunting or target shooting, and I want to make sure my aim is on target even though I’m over 45 and female. :)
