Wednesday night, people will be gathering with candles, signs, flowers, and photos.
Many will be there to protest the war and remember those killed in the line of duty.
Beginning at 7 p.m., the candlelight vigil will honor the sacrifice of American military personnel killed in Iraq.
Personal accounts written by veterans and members of military families affected by the war will be read on the steps leading up to the State Capitol.
Members of MoveOn.org and CREDO Action are holding the candlelight vigil.
And in San Marcos, another peaceful protest.
A "Circle of Peace" is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Hays County Courthouse.
Meanwhile "FreeRepublic.com" posted an item online urging its readers nationwide to wear red, white and blue Wednesday to show support for our troops and their mission.
The publication says the service members and the president deserve our support for keeping America safe since 9/11.

As a moonbat I must potest yo descripshun o’ me....
Red, White and Blue ping!
The Left calls it a "Circle of Peace." Al Qaeda calls it a "soft target."
When oh when will these leftists wake up to reality? Wasn't 9/11 enough of a clue that the Islamists want to destroy them, even if they are whacknut libs?
At least in Austin they won’t have to use any carbon points to bus in moonbats.
Fifth anniversary of WHAT war?
The deployment in 2003 was a resume of conflict of the 1991 Gulf War after repeated violations of the peace by Saddam Hussein.
Saddam Hussein’s government has been toppled and a new government has been established. Saddam Hussein was tried and executed.
We fight an international war against terrorists, some of whom are funded by foreign governments. This battle is being waged WITH the Iraqi government.
We are not at war with Iraq.
The moonbats are barking again.

Well, I can’t wear the red, white and blue, but I am wearing my ACUs as usual.
A circle of peace? To go with the Drum Circle and the Circle Jerks?
(Photo) Don't let the media call this a peace protest today. Anti-Bush death threat banner.
There’s an elderly moonbat couple in my neighborhood that actually has a bring-the-troops-home-now TRAIN.
They’ll probably be in the photos.
The namesake of Hays County, noted Indian fighter and one of the toughest Texas Rangers, John Coffee "Jack" Hays must be rolling in his grave.
I call it a target-rich environment.....
I just hope the moonbats don’t display banners from the overpasses again this year. It was either in 07 or 06 they had banners draped from the Far West or Steck overpass and screwed up traffic royally.
It reminds me of the third anniversary, when I first met some FReepers at a counter demonstration down at the VCU campus in Richmond... ConcreteBob, Flora McDonald, F22Strike and, I think, Just a Nobody. Life hasn’t been the same since :)
The next time these bozos chain themselves to something, why can't we just leave them chained up for a week or so.
If they want to block the entrance to the IRS, I’d say chain them up forever. Pray they do it nationwide.
Austin is a serious liberal city. No problem finding people for a demonstration. San Marcos is not that far from Austin and a big college town, so count that liberal. My father-in-law was vice-president and president of that college; a building there is named for him. He was a liberal, too and a professor advisor to LBJ who went to college there. No problem finding liberal demonstrators in San Marcos.

Be sure to take a few largish padlocks to the next Moonbat die in.
