The site wants to know your choice - or choices - for VP in the GOP. Now through April 6th, you can vote for as many choices from a list of sixteen 'candidates.' The top eight vote getters move onto the 2nd Round. Vote today!
The sixteen are:
Haley Barbour
Jeb Bush
Tom Coburn
Charlie Crist
Jim DeMint
Mike Huckabee
Kay Bailey Hutchison
Joe Lieberman
Sarah Palin
Tim Pawlenty
Rick Perry
Rob Portman
Colin Powell
Condi Rice
Mitt Romney
JC Watts
I liked John Kasich. Wish he were on the list.
...and pro-Palestinian. Condi? No thanks. She is too much State Dep. My choices for VP would be John Bolton, Fred Thompson, JC Watts, Michael Steele or further behind Pawlenty.
Duncan Hunter?
...and Tim Pawlenty in 4th? How sad! He shouldn’t even be on the list.
spitzer will verify her value.
While he only paid her $ 4,500 she cost him millions.
Too Caligula
Two RINOs on one ticket? Never. Colin POwell would be even worse. He's not even a RINO, he's full RAT.
So it can become the Geezer Ticket.
Who?
Repubican is not Conservative.W is also a RINO! In today’s feminized, narcissistic, multi-culti globalzed climate there is not a snowball’s chance in Hell that a real conservative would ever be elected anyway. You want a ticket that would beat the Dems? McCain/Condi.
BTW: Guiliani was a lot more conservative than McCain (excluding social issues dear to his constituents in NYC) and he was routinely mocked here for his appearance in drag at a burlesque.
Are you kidding? I suspect the #2 spot was the reason he ran in the first place! Romney's been falling all over McCain ever since he (Romney) exited and he's been like a little puppy all wagging and drooling with good natured enthusiasm. He is definitely young enough to run for President later. I'm no real fan of Mitt's but that's just based on his gun control record and the USSC is about to put my mind at rest for that issue, finally. I don't see any major laws negatively impacting the 2nd Amendment in the foreseeable future. Mitt IS a successful businessman and that's where McCain is weak, VERY weak: On the ECONOMY.
Jeb Bush - No Bush Fatigue
Tom Coburn - No- Anyone with “Sen” in front of name is DQ
Charlie Crist - No Metrosexual
Jim DeMint - No see Tom Coburn
Mike Huckabee - No, see his latest comments on Rev Wright
Kay Bailey Hutchison - No - old see Kim DeMint
Joe Lieberman - No - already slated for Secretary of State
Sarah Palin - Yes - Babe, Governor, Conservative,
Tim Pawlenty - Possible - However a new governor
Rick Perry - Possible, not as good looking as Palin
Rob Portman - Possible - have to question with effectiveness at OMB
Colin Powell - No - Gave a passionate speech about WMD’s which now he says he did not believe.
Condi Rice - No - if you get steamrolled by State Dept Bureaucrats, anyone can knock you over
Mitt Romney - No - needs a real conservative, not a turncoat
JC Watts - No - out to long
NOT LISTED- Gov. Mark Sanford
His best choice for someone younger, attractive, having all Republican credentials who would pull a large number of votes which would guarantee a large number of electoral college votes, is Rick Perry. Some Republican activists in Texas are sick of Perry, but the vast majority of Texas voters don’t know that and nation-wide they don’t know that. Perry went to a California Republican large meeting about six months ago, and he got standing ovations during his speech; they loved him. He’s handsome and women would like that.
I’m one of the activists who is sick of Perry’s heavy handed methods.
I’m still in awe of how “awesome” this election year choice was....jeez! At least I hope someone great is offered the veep job to motivate me to even get out to vote in Nov. Just depressing!
Marshall. Clement. Sanford.
Best Governor in the nation, period.
Won’t happen, but Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama. Straight up, conservative, fabulous on immigration.
