Obama’s speech: fish rot from the head down
The Collins Report ^ | March 19, 2008 | John F. Allen

Posted on 03/19/2008 6:14:21 AM PDT by jmaroneps37

Barack McGovern Obama is in trouble. He has been caught up in his own press clippings and now seems to be like a child trying out his lying skills on his parents. His speech, in which he tried to defend and explain the racist anti America sermons he has listened to from his pastor, was a true paradox. On one hand he was quite eloquent but on the other, the premise of his speech was ridiculous. It was like listening to a fifteen year old deliver Shakespeare very well, but spoil the moment by insisting he wrote it all himself.

The senator from Illinois, who was catapulted to his position by a series of fortunate turns of events, never was anything more than a con man selling himself as an authentic Black victim of White racism while he lived in Hawaii and went to the finest schools in “racist” America.

He is half White and half Black so in the corrupt world of Chicago politics, that means taking money from a White criminal during the week and attending services at a classic “hate Whitey” Black church on Sunday. If he had kept his head down and stayed in Chicago, he would never have been unmasked. But he did not, and now he has been found out.

His words will not be long remembered, but there meaning will be. No one who was not voting for him had an epiphany at his words and has now switched to being a devoted fan. Not in this lifetime.

The heartland will remember only that he tried to establish a moral equivalence between the hate preached in his church and the love taught in true Christian churches. Heartland America will not forget and was not swayed.

"Politicians routinely exploited fears of crime for their own electoral ends."

This needs to be turned around. He needs to understand that for people who have grown up where fellow citizens are routinely mugged, raped, and murdered the fear is very real and genuine. It cuts both ways.

To me, the central concept of Christianity is forgiveness. Christ taught that, without forgiveness, we descend into chaos and there can be no progress

I hope people caught the tape where Rev. Bullfrog says:

Jesus was a BLACK man!" and went on to say that he was "Oppressed by Rich White men! The Romans...were Rich White men."

Ergo, we - Whitey - killed Jesus - THEIR BLACK Jesus.

If he has previously discussed riots or threats of riots...combined with his current whooping up of race antagonisms AND the crackpot Rev. Wright nonsense, it would appear he knows exactly what he is doing.

A speech by Hussein Obama
Contained quite a lot of drama
With skill and great tact
He lied about fact after fact
And even screwed his own grandmama!

I especially liked Obama’s concern for the fetus with the bullet lodged in its elbow. I guess if the mother had been on her way to an abortion clinic instead of an emergency room, it would have been a different story.

Is this a nutjob working through anger at his white relatives?

yep/

He gets deserted at age 2 by his black father who goes back to Africa.

He gets passed off by his mother onto his white grandparents to raise. (2nd parental abandonment)

He states he became increasingly confused, starting at about age 13, about his ethnicity - was he white? was he black?

After his white grandparents raised him, gave him excellent schooling, he went off to Chicago in search of his "blackness" - and acceptance?

He fell under the spell of Rev. Bullfrog - and crawled under his wing as a surrogate father - one whom he cannot cut the strings too.,

He ignores his white grandmother (grandfather now deceased) like she doesn't exist and then brings her out only to throw under the bus - and he calls HER a racist?

A very conflicted young man, is appears.

Definitely not CIC material

“I keep thinking about the hate speech from “Reverend” Wright and about what it means. To me, it means that all the affirmative action, all the trillions of dollars of national treasure that have been spent on transfer payments, have been for nothing, absolutely nothing. In fact, the anger and resentment is worse than it was before these measures were undertaken. If the “Reverend” Wright’s vision is widely held within the black community, reconciliation will never occur. Only blood will satisfy the beast.”

I have been bothered for several days about this whole thing. You put into words what has been bothering me that I couldn’t quite put my finger on.

“Anger over welfare and affirmative action helped forge the Reagan Coalition.”

No anger over increasing taxation, increasing government regulation (sagebrush rebellion), and an incompetant president (Carter), helped forge the Reagan Coalition.

Okay, I listened. Does he want to be Commander in Chief, or does he want to be the Minister of all Ministers?

He sounded like a black preacher. He was speaking to a black preacher’s convention, right? He didn’t sound like a President of anybody? What are the rest of the citizens of the US of the KKK A supposed to do for a President?

I’m sick of it all, he’s going to transcend? Transcend, what?

It really may be all that bad. On Red Eye last night, Lauren Green (Fox's religion correspondent) laughed it all off as being no big deal. Since she's black herself, she would certainly know much better than I would what the situation is in black churches. Very scary.
