Hannity and Rush need to biew this video - this is the “O” man himself, addressing a meeting of ministers - thinly veiled warning about the “Quiet Riots” that are simmering under the surface?- like the “Quiet Riots” that were already simmering before the Rodney King Riots...

In my mind his pastor has set race relations way back. I suddenly realize why there is so much tension in my own neighborhood.

I keep thinking about the hate speech from "Reverend" Wright and about what it means. To me, it means that all the affirmative action, all the trillions of dollars of national treasure that have been spent on transfer payments, have been for nothing, absolutely nothing. In fact, the anger and resentment is worse than it was before these measures were undertaken. If the "Reverend" Wright's vision is widely held within the black community, reconciliation will never occur. Only blood will satisfy the beast.
To me, the central concept of Christianity is forgiveness. Christ taught that, without forgiveness, we descend into chaos and there can be no progress, and, after telling us this, he took the first step, foregiving us all and taking on himself the punishment meant for us.
Wright's gospel teaches the opposite. Wrongs, crimes, committed by people dead a century must be expiated by punishing people alive today. And how do we tell which of those people are to be punished? Well, that's easy. We just look at the color of their skin.

This is a conflicted young man.
His father deserted him when he was 2 and went back to his native Africa.
His mother later dropped him off for his white grandparents to raise.
He tells about how from about 13, he was very conflicted about his race - black? white?
After college - after his whitey grandparents spent years raising him and seeing he had the best of educations, he went to Chicago in search of his 'blackness' = in search of acceptance.

Anger over welfare and affirmative action helped forge the Reagan Coalition. Politicians routinely exploited fears of crime for their own electoral ends. Talk show hosts and conservative commentators built entire careers unmasking bogus claims of racism while dismissing legitimate discussions of racial injustice and inequality as mere political correctness or reverse racism..... so have these white resentments distracted attention from the real culprits of the middle class squeeze – a corporate culture rife with inside dealing, questionable accounting practices, and short-term greed; a Washington dominated by lobbyists and special interests; economic policies that favor the few over the many.

btw, Rush was the only one (to my knowledge) to pick up Obama's slam at the 'Talk Show Hosts and Conservative Commentators'. He mentioned it near the end of his show yesterday. So with St Obama in the WH you can bet the rent the 'Fairness Doctrine' or WORSE would become law. Besides him confiscating your property, but that's another matter altogether. These are the kinds of "Quiet Riots" that go before anarchy = the riots in Red Square that heralded the Bolshevik Revolution keeps popping into my mind.
