Wear Red, White and Blue this Wed., March 19 to Support Our Troops and Their Mission!
Monday, March 17, 2008 | Kristinn

Patriotic Americans are being urged to wear red, white and blue clothing this Wednesday, March 19, 2008, to show support for our troops and their mission on the fifth anniversary of the liberation of Iraq from the terrorist regime of Saddam Hussein.

Anything from scarves and ties to a full blown Uncle Sam suit will do. When someone compliments you on your patriotic attire, take the opportunity to explain to them why you're wearing the red, white and blue on Wednesday.

The anti-American left will be out in the streets across the country that day protesting and rioting. Most of us will be working, taking care of our families or otherwise focused on improving our lives and our country. Some of us will be out protecting recruiting centers from the leftists. One thing we can all do is wear the red, white and blue to show our support for our troops and their mission in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere fighting the war on terror.

Please send this to your blog and e-mail lists ASAP.

God bless our troops and their commander-in-chief, President Bush. They've kept us safe since 9/11. Let's give them encouragement to carry on.

EAGLES UP, indeed, kristinn.

I’ll be doing a one-man demonstration at our local recruiting station on Wednesday wearing Red, White, and Blue and carrying Old Glory and a sign or two to provoke thought in the minds of passing motorists.

Land of the Free Because of the Brave

Honor Our Troops

Roger Wilco!

(This Marine Dad, whose daughter just returned from Iraq, will be more than happy and proud to sport the colors of Old Glory on Wednesday.)

I have a tie that has American flags with a blue background.

I must confess to be ignorant of rules regarding the American flag.

Can I wear a tie with American flags on it or a T-Shirt with such, and appear to support the flag and the country. Or does this violate a rule for respect for the flag...

God bless...

Well, I did. And, all day, wherever I went, I did not see one other person in patriotic colors. I even went on a military base, and still no one in red, white, and blue there. No one on TV did, nor mentioned it. And no one asked me about my colors. Where did this idea start? Wish it had been given more emphasis. Guess we have to wait until 4th of July for Americans to demonstrate patriotism.
