The high-priced hooker who sunk Gov. Spitzer's political career was a party pal of one of his top financial backers, boozing it up with him at clubs and his palatial Hamptons mansion.
James Chanos, 50, a billionaire hedge fund manager who runs Kynikos Associates in Manhattan, says he met Ashley Alexandra Dupre - the girl at center of the gov love scandal - at a nightclub several years ago and often invited her to parties, But he denied introducing her to Spitzer.

seems this girl was underage back then. By the way to the writer of the article...SHE didn’t bring Spitzer down. HE brought himself down. Same way with old stale willie boy, Monica didn’t bring him down HE brought himself down with his arrogance that he could do whatever he wanted and was above the law. Wonder how that all worked out for them? Guess it just makes headlines to say someone brought someone down. clintin and spitzer brought themselves down. Couldn’t have happened to two more deserving people.
