The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton essentially even in the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. Its Obama 46% Clinton 45% (see recent daily results). This reflects an unusually sharp change from yesterdays results when Obama led by eight points and reached the 50% level of support for the first time. Daily tracking results are collected via nightly telephone surveys and reported on a four-day rolling average basis. Last nights results were very favorable for Clinton and it remains to be seen whether this marks a lasting change in the race or is merely statistical noise. Single night results are based upon very small samples and are more volatile than the overall tracking poll.
Looking to November, John McCain now holds a slight lead over both Democrats in the General Election. Its McCain 47% Obama 42% and McCain 46% Clinton 42% (see recent daily results). It appears that Clintons challenges to Obama may be helping McCain at least in the short-term. McCains polling numbers against Obama began improving during the run-up to the hard-fought Democratic Primaries in Ohio and Texas. Obama has a three-percentage point edge over McCain among unaffiliated voters but is currently supported by just 65% of Democrats. By way of comparison, McCain earns the vote from 80% of Republicans.

and mccain should not get involved in this fight. It’s not about having a spine. It’s about not being stupid.
I agree that Obama is much worse than Hillary, since I don't think she hates our country, like Obama’s two closest advisers (pastor and wife).
Doesn’t matter many are missing the point... The church is based on Black Values system... The diatribes by Wright are based on how he feels do we really need to see evidence that Mr. B. Hussein Obama attended the inflamatory sermon.... The mere fact that Wright is his close spiritual advisor, babtized his children, mentors him... that is all one needs to know to see what an Obamanation this will be if he is elected President.
He thought his strong point would be to use his faith in order to disuade those who thought him Muslim and only to find out that radical racism is just as bad as Radical Islam.
Look at Farrakan he espouses the hate White America and he is Muslim awarded high honors by the church of anti-white racist Jeramiah Wright.
and it is left to US... I guess we just don’t understand the struggle because we ain’t never been called a....G.D. American.
I had a real eye-opener. I decided to go back to graduate school (yes, in my "advanced age"). I used to work in a hospital many, many years ago and I thought, "Hey. I could work a PM shift for a couple of years while I go to school." So I started checking out some major hospitals in the area. All the ward clerical jobs are now unionized. Yes. You must join SEIU.
Have you ever wondered why the medical establishment doesn't mount any opposition to "universal health care"? It's the biggest gravy train ever.
Obama will slip right out from under this one and the minions of his dumb ass socialist will not hold it against him at all.
when in doubt blame whitey.
yeah it should have waited after he brainwashed the whole country and then the republicans will be called racists because it would be clear that they were the ones who brought this up.
Obama wasn't brainwashing the whole country. Obama was winning Democrat primaries with votes from college students, blacks, about half the left-wing lunatic base AND Republicans voting in open primaries trying to once-and-for-all defeat the Clinton machine.
We had her defeated with two weeks to go and folks like Rush decided to back-off and do the work of the Clintons.
How absolutely pathetic.
also we want obama to go after hillary for us so either way they both lose.
Yeah, that makes perfect sense. Instead of leaving Hillary defeated we want to bring Hillary back so that she will be defeated again.
Unbelievable. The Clinton machine was defeated and we had an absolutely terrible candidate in Obama to run against and we let the Clintons walk out of it.
Blacks and young swooners will NOT be disaffected as you claim.
For the blacks, pulling out of the war will bring the money back to the welfare line for them to buy more big screen TV’s with. For the young swooners, that means their College loans will be paid off by the taxpayers and let them off scott free.
Besides neither of them could care less what some Black Pastor said. The primaries will still come in strong for Obama and the voters, (most of them) want something from the Government. Obama is the one to give it to them.
So, don’t get too much false hope up yet. Time will tell, but the American public is clueless.
No disrespect intended but I can not fathom how you think Hillary is NOT an America hater.
About being easy to beat, The Clinton machine has a real track record of delivering two Presidential wins.
Obama's track record on such is aught, bagatelle, blank, diddly, duck egg, no-thing, nonexistant, nought, null, scratch, shutout, trifle, void, zero, zilch, zip, zippo, zot.
“Senator Rodham will pull out a squeaker at the convention...”
The other scenario is the rioting in the big northern cities as Obama is brought down by “The Man.” Might even wake up the white liberal zombies who think he walks on water.
There will be riots...and the law & border candidate will take it all.
I don't think he is anywhere as bad as she is (sounds like the Clintons, doesn't it?), but I would not be surprised if Barack Obama contacts John Kerry soon to get the recipe for "magic raisins", just to keep Michelle at home and out of camera range.
McCain's performance THROUGHOUT his private & public life, does in fact point directly at being STUPID... If not stupid, then criminally inclined...
In McCain's case -- I never expected him to "fight in the trenches" but to be a LEADER in the struggle for things IMPORTANT to me. I remain convinced he is incapable of leading an effective fight against either Hillary or Obama...
All of McCain's most forceful attacks to date, have been against Republicans, citizens opposed to Amnesty, citizens and veterans opposed to Kerry, citizens 1st Amendment rights preceding an election, and the POW/MIA families who expected more than a whitewash of the Communist Vietnamese coming out of the Senate Investigation leading to normalization of relations with the Communists...
A Presidential candidate should show an ability or history of LEADERSHIP to be Commander In Chief - McCain, in my opinion has failed to do so..
It has nothing to do with mccain. If he picks a liberal VP, like romney or rudy, then he would be pretty stupid beyond all redemption and I wouldn’t even consider voting for him in the general.
back to my point:
If you won the nomination and you decided to go after obama and hillary at this time, you would be pretty stupid. They’d just gang up on you and compete on whoever does a better job at bashing my fellow freeper, to the delight of their liberal base. It’s not your fight; let them destroy each other and your job should be to focus on the issues.
I really dont care bout this right now...tomrrow i find out if i have lung cancer or not

May a prayer help? I did anyway.
Just what Lyndon Johnson tried to avoid with his Great Society and Trillion-Dollar handout to keep the “disadvantaged” from rioting in the streets.
I saw the ‘68 riots in Brooklyn, New York. My brother was a city firefighter. After the “disadvantaged” set fire to their own neighborhoods, my bro and his companions rushed in to save children from burning buildings. Their thanks? The “disadvantaged” rained down bricks, stones, beer bottles, and everything else upon their heads.
The “disavantaged” shouted out: “Go to Hell, you blue-eyed devils!”
Some of us are old enough to remember.
Jeremiah Wright is a 1968-type Negro.
Oh, skaterboy—I am so sorry to hear that. I’ll pray that the news for you is good, and if the answer is yes...well then I pray that it’s the kind that responds well to treatment.
Tough times. I wish you the best.
