Friday and Saturday represent one of the best opportunities we've had in years for a one-two punch............

One, on Friday, March 14th to reflect to the IVAW Winter Soldier population, anarchists, and "surrender" crowd in general, that America rejects their distorted, fabricated attempt to smear, demean, denigrate and dishonor another generation of warriors and our nation.......we won't accept another despicable John Kerry repeat;

We will also meet Friday night (6PM to 9PM) at the front gate of Walter Reed Army Medical Center to honor our wounded warriors....let's lift up those that have given so much........

and two, on Saturday, March 15th, set aside our keyboards, put on our boots, crank up the engines, and fill the streets in DC with a positive message for America...one that appreciates our nation, supports our troops and families, and is faithful in honoring those that have gone before. TIME FOR ACTION...."boots on the ground"

Suffice to say we will be at 10000 New Hampshire Ave. in Silver Spring all day Friday for the Winter Soldier Challenge; and on Saturday assembling on the northeast quadrant of the Washington Monument ground, just off Constitution Avenue, at 1000 hours...there will be a short program (about one hour) before we kick off our march around 1300 hours.........

I hope to see many of you in DC...in a time when so much negative stuff is said about our nation and troops, you’ll hear and see positive from Eagles in DC....hope you’re part of it.

If you can’t come, please watch www.eaglesup.us for video on Friday and video and audio on Saturday.....note that the audio begins at 1 PM EDT (1200PM CDT).

Good morning! Certainly there are many praying for those out there with “boots on the ground” today and tomorrow. As part of the prayer and worship cover we will pray together here online, so those who are called can join in one accord. Let’s pray:
Lord God, You are Master of the Universe. All things are in Your power. You are Love. You are Mercy. You are forgiveness. You are Redeemer, Sanctifier, and Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world. Your sole desire is that all would turn and seek You as King - Lord and Savior - that they might dwell with You in eternity. Lord God there is a spiritual battle raging here on earth which You allow to give us clear choice. Lord God, we see manifestations of this battle in the choices of individuals and their attitude and actions here on earth.

Lord God, You as Mighty Warrior King and Lord of the armies, have called an army of patriots to Washington, D.C.and the surrounding area this weekend to honor our military, their families and our fallen. Lord God, they come in the name of love to stand in opposition to those who come in the name of hate, anger and dishonor.

Lord God, anger, hate, dishonor are not fruit of Your Spirit. These are signs that what the opposition is about is NOT Your work.

Lord God You are Truth and You are Supreme to any tactics of the enemy. Show Yourself Sovereign and as the Almighty God that You are this weekend in these events. Manifest Your power in a way that all will know which side You are on. Cause the “cause” dear to Your heart to be magnified in way which all will know this is by Your power and no one else’s - that it could only be by the Supreme supernatural power (our Most High Lord!!!).

Lord God, commission Your angels to be present and standing guard. By Your power and perfect will cause these angels to become a supernatural shield of Your protection around those who support our troops. You say in Psalm 5 that Your favor surrounds us as a shield. We ask for this this weekend for the leadership of the support - the - troop activities...

Lord God, You most frequently operate in a way which is unexpected and unanticipated. You operate in a way which the world’s wisdom says can’t work, doing what is considered impossible so all will know You are God. Do impossible work this weekend in D.C. Lord God. Reveal Yourself. Bless those who came in the name of Your love.

Lord God, we ask also that You would temper any wrong-rooted attitudes, such as anger - even if the root of the anger is righteous. Give those who support the troops extreme self-control, both those who know You and those who do not. Commission by Your will and Your power those who stand for our troops to stand firm and strong, but let them not stoop to the tactics of the enemy in how they express their strong feelings. You have drawn them to this place Lord for such a time as this. Let everything they do reflect Your banner over them! Forgive those who do not know You yet. Help those who do lead by God-honoring example that Your covering can be with them wherever they go this weekend.

Let this weekend wrought things in the spiritual realm way beyond anything we would ever ask for or imagine. Let it all be for Your glory, according to Your plan. We wait in joyful expectation for word regarding how You have moved. We expect to be amazed and surprised.

Keep them all healthy and safe.

Lord God, we thank you in advance for how we know You will move on a multiplicity of levels as only You as God can. Yes, we thank You for what we can see, and that which You are doing which we cannot. We know it will all be good when measured in light of eternity. Thank you for being an approachable God. We adore You. Bow before you. Thank you for being a God and King who allows us to enter Your throne room and who hears our prayers. We commit to worship and intercede until report comes back of what Your unfailing love and perfect will have accomplished. In Jesus’ name, Amen
