Domestic Enemies are still enemies. This current crop of socialist democrats are NOT the old Blue Dog Democrats that were for the working man back when ....they are a real danger to our beloved republic and they are not my friends, it is not just politics, I do not socialize with them , their handlers or their supporters and it is IMO the UnCivil War of our time.....that will only get worse if not checked ASAP !

Metzenbaum, like every human, had his good points and bad points.
When the man passes, it is time to give it a rest.
By the way, I met him for the first and only time in 1971, and I found him to be a decent man.

Nearly all men are decent. But some of them like Metzenbaum have the mistake idea that they can perfect the world. They think that if they satisfy everyone’s needs that everyone will be nice and the world will be perfect and all the crime will go away.
These people will never admit it but they believe in Utopia. They are Marxist.
Metzembaum was a do gooder with good intensions. And I always say this and I mean it.
God save me from a man with good intensions.
People who mean well will take your freedom from you faster than you can say Jim Robinson.
Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, and Moa all had the best of intensions for their people (at least they said they did).
The leaders I want will govern least and let me take care of myself.
I may have like him as a man had I ever met him but as far as I am concerned Metzenbaum was a terrible Senator and is not deserving of my respect.
