A democrat finally stumbles across an acorn and is immediately booted from the Union Of The Blind, Dumb and Happy.

Looks like Hillary’s attempt at yet another “Sistah Souljah” moment.

Popcorn? OK try this. Take a bag of micro wave popcorn, then about 1/8 stick of butter, with a teas spoon of sugar, 35 seconds in microwave, then while that is cooking pore on a lot of salt. then when butter and sugar is bubbling, pore on popcorn and mix. To add a Little more decadence, put some special Parmesan cheese on top and micro wave for 20 -30 seconds.

Almost as good as 72 virgins:-)

“Whenever I get to ecstatic, that damned little voice reminds me we got McCain. I hate that little voice.”

That is exactly how I feel. I can never get really excited knowing that the most successful Senator pushing the Democrat agenda in the Senate has been John McCain. I would like to trust him. But my inner self knows that John McCain will never fail to disappoint us on the big issues.

The first truthful political statement Geraldine has ever made and she gets SLAMMED for it!!

She got slammed for being a self proclaimed liberal and being honest at the same time.

Honesty isn't a part of liberal dogma and it screws up their agenda.

What she said was true, huh?? Do you know how many people say that Condi Rice is where she is because she is black? They say it with a straight face too. Now, granted, Dr. Rice is eminently qualified to be Sec. of State and granted the same cannot be said for Sen. Obama. On the other hand, John Edwards is quite the empty suit. I’m just sayin...Geraldine ‘ain’t necessarily “right”.

She said basically the same thing about Jesse Jackson in 1988. This is from Politico.com:

"If Jesse Jackson were not black, he wouldn't be in the race," she said.

Really. The cite is an April 15, 1988 Washington Post story (byline: Howard Kurtz), available only on Nexis.

Here's the full context:

Placid of demeanor but pointed in his rhetoric, Jackson struck out repeatedly today against those who suggest his race has been an asset in the campaign. President Reagan suggested Tuesday that people don't ask Jackson tough questions because of his race. And former representative Geraldine A. Ferraro (D-N.Y.) said Wednesday that because of his "radical" views, "if Jesse Jackson were not black, he wouldn't be in the race."

Asked about this at a campaign stop in Buffalo, Jackson at first seemed ready to pounce fiercely on his critics. But then he stopped, took a breath, and said quietly, "Millions of Americans have a point of view different from" Ferraro's.

Discussing the same point in Washington, Jackson said, "We campaigned across the South . . . without a single catcall or boo. It was not until we got North to New York that we began to hear this from Koch, President Reagan and then Mrs. Ferraro . . . . Some people are making hysteria while I'm making history."

The feminists are upset that race is beating gender!

It's tough being a Dem. Now if they could find a black, female, Hispanic, lesbian they could cover all their bases in the PC world they live in.

I believe that it was the Mondale-Ferraro campaign in 1984 that was responsible for me to actually begin to start taking politics quite seriously.

By the time Dukakis ran 4 year later, I had fully repented of all my youthful political transgressions ( i.e. voting for Carter, and worse.)

I suppose that I owe that hack something.

Thanks Geraldine.

Geraldine did exactly what her mistress, Miss Hilliarily told her to do. Another rat insurgent suicide bomber met her fate as per the orders from Miss Hilliarily:

The only question on my mind is did she say it strictly off the cuff or was it planned between her and Hillary to get the message across even if it meant she had to step down.

Hmmm. A question several pundits also raised.
