to all of you who have PRAYED FOR and/or SENT cards & "messages of support":
my Aunt is MUCH improved!!! (not only is her broken hip healing but as of 6PM yesterday, she has a new pacemaker implanted.)
her cardiac specialist & her orthopedist agree that she is doing MUCH better than anyone had reason to hope for. now, they say that we need to "feed her up; she's 30+ pounds UNDER-weight."
PRAYERS for her WORKED!!
our family's/my eternal THANKS to each of you.

Dark Rum...Might as well throw in a few kitchen ingredients:
Daiquiri
2 ounces rum
1 ounce lime juice
1 teaspoon sugar
Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of lime. Never, never use Rose's lime juice in this drink. Robert Hess mixes one for the video camera.
Zombie
1 ounce lemon juice
1 ounce lime juice
1 ounce pinapple juice
1 tsp brown sugar
1 ounce passion fruit syrup
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 ounce gold rum
1 ounce 151 demerara rum
1 ounce rum
Dissolve sugar in juice. Shake with ice and pour into a collins glass. Garnish with a mint sprig. Hess mixes the Zombie.
