CHAPEL HILL -- Police released photos of a person who may be a suspect in the murder of UNC student Eve Carson.

Chapel Hill police have two surveillance photos of a possible suspect, someone Chief Brian Curran called "a person of interest" during a Saturday morning press conference about the Carson murder investigation. That person is wanted for questioning, after attempting to use Carson's ATM card. He is pictured wearing a baseball cap with a star on it.

There is no H on the hat as there is on an Astros cap. And I have spent too much time around these types. I will try to find one though.

This is a Astro hat, there is an H on it. The police have enchanced the image and released the info that this is indeed a huston Astro hat, with a 5 pointed star, worn by some gang members.

Yeah, I did. LOL.

That's just the result of following court cases in this country for the last 25 years. And listening to the MSM. It is soooooo predictable. By the time he (or whoever) is arrested and brought to trial, he will be the victim.

It will be disgusting... I'm telling you now.

My wife drives a Highlander (one year older). Looks like he rolled-up in the girl’s ride too.

Two young White women murdered by black men in the same area in a short period of time. Could be the same guy but the most important issue is that "This was not a hate crime

All murder is a hate crime. The hate may be of color, or many a multitude of reasons including the fact they "hate to get caught." It is flawed logic to increase the penalty for a "hate crime" or to label anything a hate crime. If you do the crime pay with time or perhaps your life. When the judicial system takes color into consideration of the sentence of a crime they just threw judgment out the door and welcomed in discriminatory sentencing based on color.

I did not realize the lady justice was peeking beneath her blindfolds to see the color of the criminal and the victim.

He is guilty of something. Hopefully he will turn on any accomplices like the coward he is so they can all be dealt with.

Many good areas in this country are being destroyed. These people ruin one area, and then move on to the next.

I figured that both killings at Auburn and at UNC were done by black guys....once you eliminate the boyfriends, and realize that this is random murder, the picture fits....

such manyly men I must say....attacking thin little young women in the middle of the night......and taking easy murder way out....just shooting.....

its all stereotyping but that is a good thing....child molesters and child killers....that's white men....

I think Duke University should use its wealth and start buying up land and houses near their campus......who wants their kid to go to a good school located in a rat infested hell hole.....

look at Temple....lots of parents won't send their kids there due to the neighborhood.

Of course there are tragedies every day, but this was an especially bright and energetic young woman senselessly murdered in her prime. I’ve been thinking about it all day -what a waste. But I’ve also been thinking, how in the world did she encounter her murderer?

That she had naive left wing views is a fact. She travelled to Cuba and is pictured on video waving a Cuban flag at a rally. Her major was in the Poli Sci dept. at Chapel Hill, a hotbed of left liberalism if there ever was one. Out of the naive goodness of her heart, she may just have decided to give this cretin a ride.

oh..didn't consider that. I did hear she had to make a run for something at 1:30am. But on one of the memorial clips I saw they did praise her for giving rides.

I don’t think it’s gang related. I’m curious about whether or not she had coke in her system. Suppose she went to the wrong neighborhood looking for something. Is this a drug related crime? I’m just curious as to why she was out at that hour. I don’t think her name sake should be tarnished and it doesn’t justify anything, but maybe with all the facts something of this nature can be avoided. I’m from Athens and I’ll tell you the number of good girls doing these sorts of things with these sorts of people is astonishing. I’m sorry to say, but desperate people do desperate things. I certainly hope there’s no link of this nature in this case. Honestly though, I wouldn’t be surprised.
