Seems like I remember something like this being on the “World At War” movie documentary. This is a massive tape/DVD collection documenting the entire war produced in the early 70s.
You may wanna try this.
Try the History Channel’s .com, they probably have something in the archives. There was a stage6.com site that had tons of war footage but they left the internet about a week or two ago.
There is no documentary footage of the attempt I am aware of. There is some footage of the demolished building.
The best recreation I’ve seen, film-wise, is from a television series based on Speer’s “Inside the Third Reich.”
I’m not aware of any footage of the actual meeting where the bomb was planted. There very well could be footage of other meetings where Stauffenberg was present.
You’ve probably already been to Wikipedia, but, if not, there is a list of films at the bottom of this information:

I suggest the big twit drive the little twit to the local library.
About 3-minutes in there are scenes of the room after the explosion, but that’s all.

Bryan Singer (X-Men, The Usual Suspects) is directing a movie about the plot right now.
I think he’s an amazing director so Im looking forward to it inspite of Tom Cruise being the star of the film.
The German government allowed the film to use historical settings. The Government even had to pass a law (or something) allowing the film to use Nazi symbols on German soil because the display of such is banned.
Good luck with the project. Get that little Freeper an A +!
I just watched the film series Winds of War and War & Remembrance. They did that exact scene and then the massive executions of those involved, and the innocent, that followed. The films do include actual footage of the entire war, but not of that scene. Your library may have a copy—it’s a fabulous film set.

The Discovery channel’s “Unsolved History” series had an episode on the July 20th plot.
There was also a very bad TV movie where Brad Davis played Stauffenberg. “The Plot To Kill Hitler” can be bought from Amazon here:

You can hear the radio broadcast Hitler himself made the night of July 20th to the German people here:

Back in 1971 CBS aired a series of shows about important events made by David Wolper called “Appointment With Destiny.” The events were re-enacted but shown as they would have been done if live TV were available then because reporters would ask event participants questions and do mini “on the scene” interviews.
One of the many good episodes was called “The Plot To Murder Hitler”. Its not out yet on DVD, but the whole series, (including episodes about Dillinger, the OK Corral, Jesus’ crucifxion, Montezuma and Cortez), will be out shortly...or so they say.
A good German movie called “Stauffenberg” was made in 2004 and is available on DVD.
Finally, a current big movie is slated for release this fall by United Artists called “Valkyrie”. Tom Cruise plays Stauffenberg.
The film’s homepage trailer is good:

Hahahahhaaaa ... now I feel 'old' ;)
In the book “Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” by William L. Shirer there is a very interesting and informative account of the plot to kill Hitler.
July 20th 1944. I was one year old that day.
I remember reading a book called ‘To Kill the Devil’, about this subject.
