PGA Bird Killer Charged Tripp Isenhour
CNSI website ^ | march, 2008 | Neil Becker

Using absolutely poor judgment and acting un-professionally, PGA tour golfer Tripp Isenhour is about to pay the consequences for his selfish act from last December 12 when, at the Grand Cypress Golf course, he purposely killed a migratory bird. Showing no compassion for the habits of creatures, Isenhour, who was filming a segment for 'Shoot Like A Pro,' apparently got frustrated when the red shouldered hawk began making noises and forcing take after take. In a rage, Isenhour,

One of God's beautiful creatures has been annihilated just so some golf bigwig could flash his manhood. Why didn't the brain-dead spectators say to him, sheesh enuf already, you really don't want to do this.

I dunno. Why do humans get mauled by bears?

Where’s the outrage at bears for killing a human just beacause it was there?

Again- the guy is an ass, I will not disagree with that point. But he took no rights from me or anyone else by his actions, so why is this being made into a big deal?

I hope they throw the book at him.

I hope it takes at least 8 shots before they hit him with it.

I wonder if he knows that carrots are living creatures too.

I'll never forget a lib in my college paper writing an article about who trees would vote for if they could vote. Yes, the concept of "taxation without representation" was applied to trees. I need a longer tagline.

“My bet is this idiot writer is a pro-abortion, pro-partial birth abortion Demonrat.”

It certainly writes like one.

Nothing less than life before a firing squad, as well as a total removal of all future ability to earn money to support his family.

"I worked at a freakin’ grocery store for some time"? ----------------------------------------------- I hunted most of my life, now I spend as much time as I can outdoors, with a camera. The issue isn't "crows and pigeons", accustomed to screaming hordes of people, but a wild hawk. I can get closer to most hawks than most folks can, it isn't hard to make them fly away.

Any time you can see fit to leave the "grocery store", come on down, I'll show you some things about hawks.

why is this being made into a big deal?

So we can tame the beast in man. And so it won't happen again.

And maybe it's a girl thing. Women like birds. And women don't want to see helpless creatures abused.

I see no mention of the fact that this bird was wasting hundreds, if not thousands of dollars of this man's money.

It ain't his if he doesn't play well. I'd say that a bird on the course is just something you have to deal with...like an alligator basking on a green in Florida.

If he can bean a hawk at 75 yards he oughta be able to sink a putt with a birdie tweeting in the background.

I left the grocery store years ago.

“I can get closer to most hawks than most folks can, it isn’t hard to make them fly away.”

Hell, I had a red tail pin a black bird to the asphault next to my car. He stayed there as I went around him to get in my car. (Albeit, he stayed to suffocate the smaller bird before flying off with it) but the hawk certainly wasn’t scared of me.

This happend on a military base on the eastern border.

If a hawk is in a populated area, it will become accustomed to the population.

Frankly, I think the beast in man has been tamed to much as of late.

But that’s just me observing the forced feminization of the gender.

Took him 8 shots.

So maybe he's a mediocre golfer. Why blame the bird?
