Rove explained that he and McCain got to know each other during the 2004 campaign. In a separate interview, Mehlman noted that McCain was completely loyal to the president in 2004 and worked incredibly hard to help him get elected. According to Taylor, The Bush Republicans here in town are excited for John McCain.

right your rants are going to stop the whole convention process and put a real conservative into the position. YOU AND THE REAL CONSERVATIVES...hardly. You live in an imaginary world from some asinine websites you get information from and then regurgitate it out amongst us. The thread was about Rove and others who are coming to help McCAIN. Your juvenile approach is neither conservative nor principled its just constant ignorant rantings. I certainly wouldnt take advice from you nor would any reasonable person. By the time of the convention this website will be 90% for McCAIN. just KEEP WATCHING THE POLLS TAKEN HERE.
Be quiet and give it a rest. Your nastiness never ends. calcowgirl is a far cry above you.
Go to sleep or go get some. Quit embarrassing yourself with your nasty BS.
The RINOS have a real problem on their hands. It was seemingly easy enough to get McCain nominated. Now how do they intend to get their POS candidate elected?Insulting conservatives sure isn’t gonna help them with THAT.
Interesting.
The only ranting I see is coming from your computer.
I was a Conservative when being a Conservative wasn’t cool.
I was a Conservative in a liberal state, swimming against the liberal tide like a salmon swimming upstream.
You want to elect McCain—fine—it’s your vote.
But you don’t get to say over and over that John McCain is some kind of Conservative icon without an argument from me.
I have consistently shown over and over on this thread and others where McCain is not a Conservative. And you have not proven otherwise.
I have stated facts, not some things from “an imaginary world”.
You, on the other hand, have constantly insulted me and other posters with your incessant, juvenile tripe instead of responding with facts.
McCain is not a Conservative, and I say, he isn’t a Republican. Having Mehlman and Rove helping him is more proof that the idiots who have gotten the party so far away from Reagan are at the helm again.
You follow them off the cliff like a good lemming.
Those of us with a brain will be here to pick up the pieces and try to salvage what is left after November 4th.
BRAVO!
the idiots who have gotten the party so far away from Reagan are [still] at the helm again.
There you go again with the name calling. I will forgive you. You must be suffering with an affliction like Tourettes or something.
Ahhhh... so YOU are questioning MY conservatism. More of the McCain Charm Police again?
I posted no rants. I did not call you or anyone else any names. I didn't insult anyone who had a different opinion than mine by calling them "wrong" or "evil." I did joke with an old-time-freeper-friend of mine about a "rabble-rousing, name calling, scratch-claw-and-punch, all-out brawl?" Certainly, you didn't take that seriously?
Then you go off into the world of conspiracy theories etc, etc.
I DID? Could you tell me the post #, since I don't believe I posted such a thing. What world conspiracy was that?
The discussion was about Rove and what he brings to the table for McCAINS Campaign not all this silly teenage like nonsense you bring to this discussion.
"Silly teenager like nonsense?" Please show me that post, too. What did I post that you think is "nonsense"? That the team McCain said he would rely on in 2000 was made up of a bunch of liberal democrats? (Kerry, Kerrey, Biden, Brzezinski, Kissinger, Lugar, Hagel). That it is difficult to get the electorate excited when the platform of the (R) looks just like the other guys'?
But you say the same crap no matter what the thread is supposed to be about.
You obviously know nothing about my posts.
Isn’t it amazing how the McCain liberal RINO apologists come here to campaign? They tell us how they don’t need out vote, but we are “not conservative” because we won’t support McCain.
If he doesn’t need our vote, then why the hell are they all here trying to win votes? I’m just about fed up with OnRiver and his/her ilk.
Fred, there’s something about that picture that always make me want to cry.
Knock off the personal attacks!
I know what youre saying. Lets stand firm. Give them this election...and then come back hard in 2012 when the liberals have screwed things up...
Actually, that's not what I said, at all.
I still think we can influence McCain to succeed.
You and I will have to disagree on that one.
Terrorism is the most important thing right now... The economy too...
Terrorism and the economy are definitely important, but those should not be the only focus. I suggest you also look to our sovereignty and independence and add those to the list. McCain, who wants to close Guantanamo and make us subject to international courts, wants waterboarding eliminated, and during his last run said he would rely on a bunch of liberal democrats to help him work on foreign policy is not going to be any kind of saviour on terrorism (nor are hillary/obama). As to the economy, McCain is clueless. His statements have been all over the board about tax cuts ("for the rich"). His advisors are incompetents (Carly Fiorina????). I even saw a youtube video wherein McCain was asked about Bernanke's performance--McCain said he'd like to see interest rates at ZERO! The man has no clue as to what he's talking about--how can he be expected to make proper decisions if he doesn't understand the fundamentals? Add to this his embrace of the marxist driven global warming hoax, and his arrogant position relative to illegal aliens, and you'll see this country move faster to the left and cause more change than under FDR. Call it the McCain NewDealism. No thanks! I want to fight these #%@%#$%#$'s, and with McCain as leader we will only be silenced.
You look at the first 100 days for Obama and Hillary and youre looking at the beginning of the fall of the roman empire...
You look at the first 100 days for McCain and I contend it could easily be worse. (I offer Arnold Schwarzenegger as proof of this contention)
Im done with him....
now thats a blessing!!!
Why was my post #153 deleted?
Is exposing someone’s past trollish behavior not allowed? I pointed out Reagan bashing, Rush bashing, Coulter bashing, etc. and now said poster is going to taunt me with 4 words from my deleted post?
Why not just let the record stand as it was and reinstate the full post?
Knock off the personal attacks. If you have a problem with a poster, hit the abuse button.

can’t say I’m crazy about some of these NeoCons from the opposing side in the amnesty battle
