I never thought I would say this but Im afraid my Ann Coulter Action Figure is going out with todays garbage. Shes said a lot of stupid things in the last few years. But her recent statements about Hillary Clinton have shown that she isnt a true conservative. In my opinion, shes sold out...

Someone tell me why Republicans elect RINOS and Democrats elect the MOST LIBERAL MEMBER OF THE SENATE?
GREAT POST! I may use it as a tagline someday. The media praises our left-leaning Republicans AND the left's ultra-left-leaning politicians. Seems to be a left-leaning pattern here. You never hear them praise a liberal for crossing the aisle. You never hear them praise conservative politicians. Why? Because they want to paint the picture that the Republican Party is EVIL. And the more right-leaning a politician is, the more EVIL the politician is. IMHO, the DBM shouldn't praise ANY politician. Say the news, don't make the news.

I understand the tax burden still increased by 4% per person in Mass during Romney’s 4 years. And State fees went through the rough in a lot of areas, including the imposition of a $100 gun ownership permit.
Romney put in Universal care knowing that the state couldn’t afford it, but that he wouldn’t be governor when the **** hit the fan. Your new goveror is probably cursing Romney every morning.
And there is a lot more to being a conservative than fiscal conservatism.

I always thought that the abominable Health Care Mandate was what would wreck Romney's chances for the nomination, but I was rather naive.
I now recognize that there are a lot of prejudices out there still among so called conservatives that will marginalize the Republican Party for a long time to come, and probably forever.
I am astonished that John McCain has this nomination locked up.
We'll see what happens in 2010 & 2012, but for 2008, I'll try catching up on all of those Simpsons episodes that I never saw.

No, a "conservative" who stridently argues in support of Hilary Rodham Clinton has sold out, period. Miss Coulter is a self-professed satirist.
satire - the use of sarcasm, ridicule or irony to expose, attack or deride vices, follies, etc; the use of ridicule or scorn, often in a humorous or witty way.

if anything you should push for a credible conservative 3rd party candidate if mccain really is that bad. That is too tall an order, especially since voting for HildeBeast will accomplish the same thing.
Remember, we have this:

. . . because of this:

The herd is in BAD SHAPE
Ann knows it.
Mike apparently does not.

Ann’s point is that Hitlery and McCain will propose the same liberal ideas, but Republicans will fight those ideas if they come from Hitlery.
As one example, Hitlery would not be able to get Amnesty through the Congress. McCain would. Making 30 million illegals suddenly legal is a PERMANENT problem that will haunt us far beyond the next four years. Once legal, they will have access to all the social safety-net programs — so without any NEW spending programs, Amnesty will cost an additional $400 BILLION each year. Why ? Because “doing the jobs Americans won’t do” doesn’t pay well, and we would suddenly DOUBLE the money spent on welfare, foodstamps, Section 8 Housing Assistance, Medicaid, etc. which these people are mostly ineligible for as illegal laiens.

I see this as Anns attempt to bring Johnny Boy back to the right, but sadly hes forgotten where that is. IMO, Johnny Boy will only be giving lip service to any move to the right.

Little Jack Horner
Sat in a corner,
Eating a mincemeat pie.
He stuck out his thumb
And pulled out a plum,
And said, “What a good boy am I!”
That nursery rhyme is what I thought of when I got to the end of Adams’ “Ann, is a bad girl, and she is not conservative.” critique.
Adams’ criticism would have been much more effective if he hadn’t resorted to polishing his halo and fluttering his wings at the end of the piece. That could be construed as attempting to knock Ann down a few rungs in order to advance himself.
It’s well and good that he is donating ALL of the monies from his latest book for the children.
How do we know that isn’t his bookselling gimmick, and that he isn’t hoping that, by doing that good deed, it will cause his next books to out sell Ann Coulter’s.
How was his attack on Ann different from what he is accusing Ann of doing to John McCain? He can support McCain without attacking Ann Coulter.

Sounds painful. Has it happened in the past?

It's laughable to see FReepers criticize Ann for her tongue-in-cheek comments. These are the same FReepers who voted for Hillary in the recent primaries just to keep the Dems at each other throats. So to see people criticize Ann, when you have guys like Rush telling his minions to go out there and vote for Hillary is downright mind-boggling.
Those who voted for Hillary know who you are, nothing but a bunch of quislings.

“Romney is a conservative”
I think in the end he was, if he wasn’t in the past. I know one thing though, IMO he would have fought the libs hard in Washington.

She's merely pointing out the reality that a vote for McCain is no better than a vote for a Democrat.I don't like McCain either, but if Ann truly believes this, she's an idiot.
McCain won't gut our military. He won't walk out of Iraq and give the terrorists a 'win'. And he is definitely more pro-life than either Hillary or Obama.

That's a delusion, not reality.
Nurse your false-security and stay plugged into the matrix, pal.
John McCain, if he's elected, will be the single most left-of-center radical this country has ever seen. He'll dismantle Constitutional freedoms Hillary and Hussein wouldn't dare wet-dream about. The man has no center, no soul, no principles--and neither do the people who indulge him.
