"Comments" lets you see the header only: thread title, the post#, its author, who it was addressed to, the forum, date and time, but not the comment itself.

"Full" lets you see the header and the full text of the comments.

How do we look up a poster as we did before?

Any window with the search window in the upper right, just put

by:username, click go

and you should get their comments.

You can choose full or brief.

The colors can be chozen by you by going to “more”, “subscriptions” and under “style” change the colors to girl friendly.

Every time I try that, typing in “by:end times crusader” it changes to this “title:by:end times crusader”. Do you know what I’m doing wrong?

Horrible; evrything is harder to find - now I don’t even have a search window.

Response time is slower, I have >6MBS everywhere else.

That little rectangle is distracting, isn’t it?

I imagine he uses it so he can scroll reall fast and find his posts, and marvel at how cool they look

It’s so distracting to me that it says to my brain, pass over this one, it’s too hard to read

I did read a couple to see if it was worth such greatness to be boxed up so nice, and decided to pass on them from then on.

Click on news/activism on the sidebar, then on on any tab at the top to get what you want.

I see “search” in the upper left corner —— when I am into a particular post.

But where is the “search” on the general “comments” page?

As for me — I don’t like change. The tried and true is what I am comfortable with. A couple of changes back, I liked it when there was one line in the color ‘red’. It was distinctive.

If you got that posters posts or articles, just click on “comments” at the top of the page.

I don't understand the difference between the "Articles" and "Activity" tabs. With either choice, articles come up... what's the difference?

When searching for FReepers' posts, we now have the extra step of having to type in by:FReeper in the search box, then another extra step of having to click on "Full" to see the full posts of that FReeper (it defaults to "Comments", all we see are links).

If I want to do another search of a different FReeper's comments, I have to get back to the 'Latest Posts' page and do the search box thing all over again. There used to be a MUCH more fluid way to do search after search of FReepers' comments... now there's all these extra frustrating steps.

I only have the 'Breaking News' sidebar (set in my preferences). When I click on a title and check out the thread, then go back to browsing as usual, the Title/link I clicked on didn't change color. So I have this block of text of the same color in my sidebar, and I don't know what threads I've visited before.

In the Popular Keywords, only Obama is in red for some reason, the rest are in navy blue, some are bold, some not. I don't know if this is intentional.

Perhaps in "My Preferences" we can choose between the "old style/non-techie FR" and the "new style/techie FR"? (I prefer the old)

I appreciate your efforts, John, but I was very happy with FR the way it was before. The only request I've had for awhile was to re-instate the "By Sender" function in FReepmail, to make it easy to search for FReepmails by sender.

WHen I went to MOre/My Subscriptions I get this:

WHen I go to another section, it allows me to pick from 3 themes....black, blue and a freeper made one. I chose the freeper made one and nothing changed.
