What do you think? Suggestions, comments, complaints?
Put by:
followed by a posters name

It should bring up that posters posts or articles
If you don't get the posters posts (comments) then click on comments
Then brief or full
Should work
One more Tinker Bump!
Good to see you...thanks for the info...nitey nite!
If there's more stuff to be learned, I hope you will ping me.
Thx!
Ok, now I cant get brief comments. It only shows full comments.
Its driving me nuts. :p

Until you find “Comments” you can edit your my comments page remove “/my” and just leave “/comments” it will take you to the main page every forum is listen on one page called comments!
The forums comments are not separated they are now join.
I would really save the mods headaches with my lack of control over the Language!
LOL, good luck
Oh and Hay John, it's coming together real good, thanks!
Looks like you would have to go to the comments or articles page to do that
To search for a poster's comments, go to the empty box, top right of the Forum page, and type
by:name
Took awhile to get used to, but working great now! Looking good!! ;>)
See the little white box at the topright..I just deleted what was in it and put your name in..It took me to search..on the right it had “find in forum ‘and I clicked on it..it took me to your posts.
Of course I could have clicked on your name and found you via your profile page but if one just needs to search for a poster, there is a way, even if their post is not handy to click on..
In the meantime my old user post links I saved in favorites just bring me back to my current page..bummer.
Thanks so much, John!
See my #487 .... WOOO HOOO !
I think I can now fall asleep .. LOL
Just type............ by:name
Thanks to Syncro, finally am
starting to lose my headache.
It works! WHEW.. ! LOL
Well, I am getting used to it.
One problem area needs attention: The sidebar. The items in the sidebar listings should open in the same was as the main listing, according to the preference setting.
Example:
My preference setting is for items to open in a new window. (new Tab in Firefox) Items in the main listing, like Latest Comments, do open in a new window. BUT, items in a sidebar (like Breaking News) open in place of the latest Comments page. Out of habit, when I close a thread I have also closed my Latest Posts page . . . [bummer]
Headache???
This is fun!
*ducking*
Now there is a search box at the top right with the word “posts:*” in the box and if you hit Go, nothing happens. Also, on the right side is “RSS”, and when you click on it you get a bunch of what looks like computer lingo instructions or something. Then also on the right is the word “sidebar” which when you click on it gives you a bunch of removal choices for various sidebars, like “Forum”, etc. It’s all screwed up here. Haven’t a clue what’s happening, but do know it isn’t good.
Actually, about 2nd down on right, it says “Put on Sidebar”, and you click on it where it gives you sidebars to remove. But there are no sidebars showing. Ugh.
I think that is still being worked on.
I would venture to guess it will go back to the automatic open in a new window some time before “bedtime”
All that right clicking, and clicking on ‘open in new window’ is wearing out my mouse hand...
It'll all come out in the wash. I hope they fix this font size changing thingie soon, I can bareley read my own writing!
You can’t read members posts in their profile, only see that they were made.
;) ... I don't learn new things by reading about them well .. must be some kind of tetch of visual dyslexia. But, I finally got it. YAY! And I thank you, you ..
