Basically what the article is stating is that the Democratic primary in Puerto Rico will be moved up a week, to Sunday, June 1st, and that Puerto Ricans want to know from Hillary Clinton what would be her "Presidential Plan" regarding the status of Puerto Rico, should she win the White House. The Island has 63 delegates at stake and Hillary is heavily favored.

P.S. That change has not “officially” been made yet, but should be made later today.

If there are no delegates for Florida and Michigan, there should be no delegates for the U.S. territories, either.

Will she also promise to pardon any terrorists that kill US Congressmen? Upon relfection, there may be some merit...oh, I digress.

Rules! All candidates must completely blow their budgets on two of the most worthless states in delegates before they can proceed to the rest of the primarys.

Someone has to tell Howard Dean about this proposed change — apparently, he still thinks that Puerto Rico is voting on June 7th...

Why not? And why do you care? The Dems can set their own stupid rules...

I think there should be an English-only posting rule on FR. If I need information in Spanish, I can call the federal government.

Why not? And why do you care? The Dems can set their own stupid rules... I'm from Michigan and I feel the pain of all the disenfranchised voters there.

I’m pretty sure they’ll get their votes counted, tho’ it might mean the state will have to pony up for another primary.

John Kerry was a member of a group that plotted to kill elected US Congressmen as a means of ending the support for the Vietnam war.
Anyone can run for office these days it seems.

How many Dems crossed over to the GOP primaries in Floriduh and Michigan because they had no “say” in the Democrat presidential nominee?

Wouldn't a change in date have to be approved by the PR Legislature? I know that the GOP state convention had to be held on a particular date, which would have been the date of a primary had they held a primary instead (they didn't because the State Elections Commission claimed that it didn't have enough money in its budget for a primary).
The state primaries are this Sunday, and after that I'm sure that we'll have a lot more clamoring for changing the Dem state convention to a primary, which would also require legislative action.

So, the Dims in PR want to be a little bit less irrelevant?
