McCain Thanks Moderates and DEMOCRATS who voted for him—Ah, but what’s good for the goose………….

With all of the acrimonious dissension and vitriol among many Freepers aimed at Rush as well as those Republicans/Conservatives who crossed over and voted for Hillary (YES MYSELF INCLUDED) claiming among other allegations, that he/we were/are “stupid,” “morons,” “idiots;” “turncoats,” “don’t know what we are doing;” “will rue the day and be sorry;” had an opportunity “to bury The Witch once and for all”; that Barrack ("Peace Be Upon His Middle No Name") Obama “would be much easier to beat in November,” etc., AND, what this displayed was underhanded as well as disgraceful and something the Dhumies would do; “we” being above such childish antics, it is now my solemn duty to inform all of you who are not aware of Senator McPain’s comments last night in which he (paraphrasing) “thanked all of the moderates and democrats” who voted (I.E. CROSSED OVER) to vote for him.

Funny thing is that pro McCain voters claim we anti McCain voters are helping to elect Hillary when they themselves are the ones actively voting for her.

They should be very careful what they wish for.

McCain will win a very sizable portion of moderate Democrats vs Obama or Hillary. He will win the majority of Independents. The only hope Obama will have is to bring in a huge new influx of impressionable young voters and those who never vote.

The idea that Obama will steal GOP votes in the general is absurd because of how left he really is. Maybe some GOPers will stay home, but they won’t flip to BHO.

McCain will dominate Obama or Hillary in the South, regardless of all the pissing and moaning about his credentials.

In reality, I don’t see much hope for the Dems other than a tidal wave of new voters or McCain falling ill because McCain will likely win big in Ohio, Florida and maybe even Pennsylvania. He could also steal Wisconsin. Maybe Obama could do something in Missouri by mega turnouts in St. Louis and KC.

What 2004 Bush state will vote for Obama over McCain? I can’t see one other than maybe the St. Louis factor.

"While I'd love to see the Beast defeated in the primaries, having her limping into the general works for me as well. If Obama comes out on top, it should be one largest landslide victories since the Rats nominated Mondale.

But if it's a bloody battle between now and convention and she wins nomination, I suggest that many blacks will be so pissed (and wright or wrong will believe that she stole the nomination) that they will stay home rather than vote for her.

This could have a lasting impact on the overall Black vote and DemoRats--one can only hope?

"We just have to keep the heat up on McCain to make sure he doesn't go running more left than he has.

How much further left can he go? Does ANYONE really believe his platitudes and affirmations regarding his being a "true conservative?" Yeah Right!!!

"He's made it clear that he despises conservatives. I'm making it clear that the feeling, at least from this conservative, is mutual.

Right on, Right on!!!

I wouldn't give him the sweat off my you know what.

And neither will the RNC get a penny from me.

McLame lost all respect (and any hope of my ever supporting him) when in 04 he dissed all of us Nam Vets; impugned and denigrated the Swift Boat Vets; derided the book Unfit for Command BEFORE it was released to the public; told all us Nam Vets to "get over it;" and rather than support us in our efforts to expose that slime, rat-bastard, traitor (John Kerry) he stuck by his good bud, Kerry, and defended him.

That and the POW/MIA hearings, forever precluded my ever being able to support this man.

McCain is neither Hillary or Obama and that is going to have to suffice for now..I’ll vote for him in spite of his
not being a true conservative. He’s better than they are.

McCain is hopeless. He is too far to the left already. He is obsessed with amnesty and open borders and thus with destroying this country. He even voted against the Cronyn amendment - that is insane. His positions on POW/MIA issues have been outrageous. And he met with his former captors - how odd. Both he and Cindy are creepy and weird and have too many scandals in their past.

Mccain’s campaign e-mailed me today asking for a handout! Politely told him that he and the republican party can hit the bricks, my hard earned cash will fund conservatives.

Hillary’s response to Rushs endorsement this morning on Fox was watch out Rush you might get what you hoped for. Rush and his ilk are out to destroy the Republican party. There is plenty to be mad about but to install either one of those two in the WH during a time of war is an outrage.

You are so mean. If they pay the postage, I’ll at least send him one of those special peso notes.

Agree completely, the Dems may have elected the strongest candidate we had. Imagine how Tancredo would have done against Black Oblack

Here's the summary of Juan's FEC report re: total cash-in-hand, as of 01/31/08:

A piddling 5.5M, in cash donations... and a humiliating 5.5M in debt.

Looks as if that brave new coalition of "independents, moderate Democrats and Hispanics" his online cheerleaders are constantly all a-twitter about isn't actually willing to support their boy Vicente Fox, Jr. with real, actual, cold hard $$$, when push comes to shove... or (more likely, still): maybe said 'coalition" doesn't really exist AT ALL.

Just sayin', is all. ;)

All this talk about how the Dems are not going to be united in November seems dubious to me. She is already planning to offer Obama the VP slot if she wins the nomination. He could accept, thinking he will be the next POTUS after Hillary.

If it’s Hillary/Obama, she gets the youth vote, plus McCain can’t attack her on defense as well as he could Obama.

If republicans keep voting for her, there is a risk. But McCain as POTUS isn’t that wonderful either. If he succeeds in his amnesty push, in a few years all the new Dem voters will take control of all 3 branches.
