These 2 on a ticket would be a hanging softball for McCain to knock out of the park with a little conservatism. He's probably not smart enough to realize that though.

He’s ahead in delegates and popular vote...She can not call the shots. The math is such Hillary can not catch up in delegates. Barring some sort of typical Clinton dirty trick,she can not win the nomination. If her last name was not Clinton, she would have gotten out after the Potomac Primarys-certainly after Wisconsin. I don’t believe the Dem Party will allow Clinton to fracture the Dem Party in the end. It’s just a matter of how much damage will the Clinton’s cause in the short term. Its kind of interesting, we have a Dem candidate who really screwed Democrats (1994,Al Gore loss) and a Republican candidate who screwed Repubs-crazy year.

Whoever is on top, it would be the blind leading the blind. Hillary accepting the possibility of this co-ticket premise shows her position of weakness. I won’t get too concerned yet unless I hear Obama express the same willingness.
As for the democrat party, they’d jump at this chance... they only want to win the White House. Ability to run the country is a distant second on the list... as proven by their selection of candidates, both with inadequate experience and who offer totally unrealistic promises.

OK, I didn’t read all the comments, but if Hillary doesn’t get the top, she won’t take 2nd place. I don’t see her wanting to be VP. Its all about Hillary, she is part of the “me” generation, in her case the key is “ME”.
