Not prophecy, just common sence:
Which ever is the nominee of the d's, whether it be obama or clinton, all the winner need do to win in the general election, is to get McCain to loose his temper one time on National televion, reverting into one of his infamous cursing, cusing, foul mouthed attacks.
If his handlers drug him up enough to keep him civil, he won't know whether he is a conservative or liberal, not even kava kava could keep him civil and sharp enough to answer questions.
Olympia Snowe will be his running mate if clinton wins the d nomination, yet that will not help when McCain refers to the d as a $#%%*(* &*^% or a $#%%*(* *&%%#@.
Yep. You are correct. As none other than flaming Lib Bill Maher said to O’ Reilly: “Are you nuts? A black AND a woman on the same ticket? Never gonna happen! That would be seen as “Too much, too soon”. It may be OFFERED to one for appearance-but it ain’t gonna happen. Not in 2008.
Hi and welcome to FR. Please ignore all the nasty comments, there are some good people here. Unfortunately, there are a lot of elitists and bad ones, too.
IBTZ is a nasty term meaning “In Before The Zot”-meaning they’d better make a comment in the thread before your thread is removed and you’re suspended or banned from the website. In other words, he’s just a wiseass and was being nasty to you. As I warned you, we’ve got a lot of rotten apples here who think they own the board. You learn to either ignore it or fight back after a while, because it never stops.
The ol’ hash slinger from Bangor has come a long ways since she fell into her dead husbands seat...
Sorry, but the white male vote is under 35% of the electorate, and half of these are victims of white-male-guilt complex.
Way too many males on the Clinton bandwagon.
yes, the clinton/obama ticket could be dangerous.
I heard a liberal on NPR say they looked forward to 16 YEARS OF CLINTON OBAMA.
That’s the New Socialist Deal folks.
Perhaps, but remember only a very tiny fraction of the overall electorate will vote anyway. Those most likely to vote (this time) will be the angry or outraged white male, sick of being marginalized. The rest won't bother to vote because they don't care, about any of it, anyway. I know because I've been teaching them the last 18 years and it's grown worse year after year. Most of my black students are all enthused about Barack Obama but when you ask if they're actually going to vote, they shrug their shoulders and say they don't have the time or it's not THAT important....
