Rush Wins?

K-Lo, writing here from Austin, Texas.

Not sure why the networks haven’t picked up on this, but there is definitely a sizable portion of the vote in Texas tonight comprised of Republican voters looking to “game” the Democratic primary. I spoke with numerous friends today, who claim to be Republican, who said they voted for Sen Clinton with the thought that it will prolong the Dem in-fighting and therefore benefit Republicans. I won’t debate the merits of their argument here, but the phenomenon (Republicans voting for Sen Clinton to gain the system) is real and I think material to the results. I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone reporting it and just how large the impact might be. I’m sure it is contributing to the number of voters deciding in the final three days to support Sen. Clinton. Would be curious to hear your contributors comment on this dynamic. The VRWC conspires to save the Clinton campaign?

The Foxes just had Hillary on and asked what she would say to Rush for his encouragement..... She said “Be careful what you wish for”....

Ha! Karl just pointed out that she said—well, NO Republican is going to vote for me.

Poor Rush doesn’t realize that she is the queen of sleaze, and will outfox his sly ploy.

He knows the absolute best thing that could happen for his ratings would be for Hillary to win the General election.

Karl Rove was just on Fox and he said Hillary messed up when she said Republicans voted in the Democrat primary to mess them up. He said she should have said “Sure a lot of Republicans voted for ME!”

Rush’s juvenile strategy may have re-envigorated the Clinton presidency. If Hillary is elected in November than we can all blame Rush and his huge ego.

YOU BEAT ME TO IT!

Karl Rove was on yesterday and he has compiled polls from across USA and said McCain would beat Hillary. But in a contest with Obama it would be VERY close with 70 toss up electoral votes that could go either way. So I hope McPain meets up with Hildabeast.

Only problem with all this wise guy stuff—— vote for Hillary to make chaos ——

Is that after lots of blood is spilled what we end up with is a Hillary Obama ticket which is harder to beat than an Obama ticket with who knows what as vice president but it won’t be Hillary

Hillary-Obama is a possibility
Obama - Hillary will never happen

Rush and Hillary make the perfect couple...they both care about nothing but themselves.

If she said that, she:

1. is pure evil
2. knows she is evil
3. is making no effort to conceal her evil intent whatsoever.

That was her way of saying: “If this backfires on you, Rush, and I actually win, I’m going to shove the Fairness Doctrine so far up you -— it will knock the cigar out of your mouth.”

I hope Rush knows what he’s doing. Even a dead rattler can bite.

Damn you Rush, the Clinton-two-headed-beast nightmare continues. I hope to God Rush did not buy us another 8 years of Hill-Bibba.

Yes, I'd rather face (and lose) to a stronger Obama than think the Hildabeast has a chance.

On another thread, if I recall correctly, it was mentioned that CNN (yeah, I know what you’re thinking) reported exit polling that indicated that in Texas more Republicans voted for Barack Redacted Obama than for Clinton.

If true, so much for Rush throwing the election.

But these crossovers have been going on FOREVER and we have had a few Republicans in office here and there, Reagan, Bush, etc. Republicans have always done this when we don’t have a choice in OUR candidate. I don’t crossoever because I cannot say DEMOCRAT when they ask which party you want to vote on.

PS The ladies running the early primary here in Texas this time, one of them looked up at me and asked, “REPUBLICAN?” How did she know? I guess I don’t look STUPID.

EIB is now as banned on my radio as CNN is on my TV. I’ll scan the Rush thread at bit today, but it will be a long time before I tune him in again.

His strategy was blatantly stupid. Clinton is by far the more partisan and corrupt and evil candidate. She would probably be more difficult to defeat as well. She certainly looks reinvigorated and it wouldn’t surprise me to see her win the nomination. If anything Republicans should have gone in droves to cast votes for Obama.

Drive a stake through the beast now! We may have lost our opportunity.
