My little girl is having surgery tomorrow to have a lympangioma removed from her neck. I'm at that point where you transition from "She has the best doctors, it's a simple operation, everything's going to be fine" to "My lord, what are they going to do to my baby, what if I never see her again", so prayers are much appreciated.
Especially pray that the anesthesia goes smoothly, and that her facial nerves remain undamaged. A mild degree of facial paralysis is the most common after-effect of this type of surgery. I love my baby's smile

FWIW--my oldest sister had exactly this surgery--successful--back in 1967. I'll be praying for those same results for your daughter. Be sure to keep us posted when you can!

Thank you all so much for your supporting prayers. We get notified of the exact surgery time tonight, and by tomorrow evening she should be recuperating. Right now all she can talk about is showing off her play stethoscope to the nurses and whether she can wear her headband with the Hello Kitty ears into the OR. She’s already wangled an application of sparkly blue nail polish prior to waking up out of me. Luckily she hasn’t realized I’m in “can’t say no to anything” mode, as we really don’t have room for a pony.
