I hold Crist accountable. Playboy jetsetter is a detriment to Florida.
That’s why I stick with Carl’s Junior.
The good old days really were.
Blame Charlie Crist. He’s ruining Florida by ignoring/avoiding its real problems. He’s the emperor who has no clothes.
OK, I’m older that dirt. born in 1944. So the 50’s were great for me!!!! Country life..riding horses, swimming pond, the post office and dry goods store were together. We had one small grocery and another store that sold everything from mule harnesses to bobby pins. Had a small catholic church and a small babtist church. No phones in the middle of nowhere so we had to go to this lady’s house and make them from a switchboard. she was the local beautician as well. I was the first white child with an afro - she gave me a perm once...I cried for days. Great times.
Reporting now at least 3 critical, 2 dead...
Tom Tancredo said that Miami was like a third world country and was criticized by Jeb Bush. Tom Tancredo was right.
DOn't blame the South Americans. The ones coming in now generally have alot of money and are professional people. The problem in south florida isn't the Cubans or South Americans, its mostly Urbanized black America, plus some central american gangs.
People actually looked out for one another. After West Side Story seems the way to deal with conflicts changed. Remember when the worse fight wed see was with skin not weapons?
You are so right. The boys would fight after school - one on one - usually the tough guys. The rest of the students just stayed away from them. But, never knives or guns were used and our parents had both in our homes. The guns didn’t have locks. We just knew NOT to ever touch them. Of course, that’s when chidren used to listen to their parents.
I recall all of us paying outside on summer nights in the late 50s and 60s....None of the parents were concerned about our safety in the neighborhood. Watching out for cars was the big concern of day....Gangs, drive-by shootings, senseless daily mass murders, and lawless illegal invasions from other countries just wasn’t happening.
Rumors about crist are endless.
Until they lock up the psychos who can't even manage their meds, there will be more senseless killings. People without guns can only duck and crawl or play dead.
Lock the psychos up BEFORE they act out their fantasies. They do not belong out running loose in society.
CC is living out his dreams but so are we. He’s a nightmare. If McCain wants to lose, he should pick CC.
Crist is a gay jerkoff.
You guys need a new Governor. How long until you get to elect a new one?
Playing outside, walking to town to the movie house with a buck to last you all day. Stop back on the way home at the creek and go swimming. Biggest scandals was when an unwed school teacher left in mid year to “teach” somewhere else and while teaching had a baby!
When you got in your teens carrying a .22 rifle around with you everywhere you went to shoot snakes and stuff. We’d leave our rifles on the entry porch to the local feed stored when we went in to get cokes and peanuts. They were still there when we came back out.
When my older kids were young they’d sit for hours and listen to me and my brothers talk about our childhood and they’d eat it up. They watch Little Rascals and ask if we did that stuff.
There was a riot there last week. The blame is placed on the Haitians.
Here is the problem with that.
I worked in Haiti for 5 years shoulder to shoulder with the poorest(in wealth not spirit) people in the Caribbean. They were decent honorable people. I was proud to have worked there and proud of much of the work we did there.
Fast forward 20 years. Haitians come to America by the hundred thousands. They lose any and all respect for parents, elders, teachers, police, etc. within months of living here.
Now they are the problem here, but are they really? I'll just tell you this. Any time Haitians are managed by other Haitians, they work well together there is little fighting and things go smoothly. once they are introduced to the feel good/no rules society they don't know how to adapt and things fall apart.
And when one went down there were no kick to the head the fight was over.
