My first thoughts too, but the article from #5 says it was an AC-130. Hard to mistake that, and as far as I know, not very many other countries can put that kind of firepower in the air.

Somalia is going to be the refuge of last resort for the al Qaeda assholes. It was their first great “success”, and it will be there last redoubt.
Eventually we are going to have to go in there and finish the job Clinton abandoned.
