Don’t bet the farm on that. The GOP has a history of pulling victory out of the jaws of defeat.
The reverse is also true.
The GOP has a history of pulling defeat out of the jaws of victory.

That is what I meant to say, but the coffee hadn't kicked in and I didn't proof what I typed. LOL.

He looks absolutely awful in that picture. He looks overweight, old, tired and not vigorous at all. He will look like a corpse next to Obama. I’ve noticed on television, that they are starting to show him from the left side now (not his best side). It’s only going to get worse.
I guess the powers that be flipped a coin or something & the dems won the toss for this year. It’s the republicans time to lose & they’re giving McCain “his turn” so he’ll maybe shut up & quit stabbing the party in the back every chance he gets.
What a depressing election.

What a depressing election.
I've said the same. It is so bad that Huckabee turns out to be the most preferable of the bunch. What a choice -- 3 senators, professional bloviators. And you can't really tell which one is the more liberal of the 3.

True, but most recent polls have him well ahead of Hillary and ahead of Obama. Within the margin of error but ahead.
Is this any worse than promising to withdraw from Iraq but reinvade if Al Qaeda establishes a base there? Which they have right now.
Mild senility vs. the non-logic of a trial lawyer. Pass the popcorn.

Thanks for your post #7. That really is the biggest problem with McCain. He thinks he gets to judge everyone else’s tone and intentions. Not in America he doesn’t. We judge political words based on whether they are true or false, good ideas or bad ideas. Everything else is free expression.

Oh...and if we continue to police these things, how about we outlaw McCains gutter mouth. Send him to jail next time he cusses someone out. Hey, that cussing is very uncivil. Next time he angrily calls one of his fellow Republican senators an a-hole, lock him up and throw away the key. Let him be measured by the standard he measures others.

McCain is just a skid mark in the underwear of the GOP.
I think we need to fine tune the primary selection process, and get ready for 2012. We need to cut our losses. If he loses, we should contribute to his next opponent in Arizona, even if its a Democrat. Retire the skunk, its worth the cost.

McCain is just a skid mark in the underwear of the GOP. The only problem with that comparison is that skid marks on underwear aren't nearly as disgusting as the liberal pandering of Señor McAmnesty...

"When was the last time youve heard of a republican, ANY republican, getting treated like some rock star?" Yesterday. SFO Chronicle suggesting some woman from Alaska as McCain's VP, Comparing her to Obama in her star quality.
Her supporters are very, very intense, like Obama supporters.
They swear she's hot and their heads explode if you just don't see it.
She is almost 30 years younger than McCain. And regardless of her hotness quotient, putting her next to McCain would make him look like he freakin' "cryptkeeper". So she's probably a non starter. But you never know.

They just are divided on who they are the most scared of. You seem to factor fear into many things.
Are you a coward?

McCain is just a skid mark in the underwear of the GOP. At least the underwear of the GOP is not magical, mystical or mormon.
