Sen. Clinton accepts donations from troubled firm (refuses to return $170K in donations)

** EXCERPT **

Sen. Hillary Clinton has declined to return $170,000 in campaign contributions from individuals at a company accused of widespread sexual harassment, and whose CEO is a disbarred lawyer with a criminal record, federal campaign records show.

The federal government has accused the Illinois management consulting firm, International Profit Associates, or IPA, of a brazen pattern of sexual harassment including "sexual assaults,” “degrading anti-female language" and "obscene suggestions."

In a 2001 lawsuit full of lurid details, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission claims that 103 women employees at IPA were victimized for years. The civil case is ongoing, and IPA vigorously denies the allegations.

"This is by far, hands down, the worst case I've ever experienced," said Diane Smason, one of the EEOC lawyers handling the lawsuit. "Every woman there experienced sex harassment, they were part of a hostile work environment of sex harassment. And this occurred from the top down."

Sen. Clinton’s spokesman, Howard Wolfson, told NBC News in a statement that the senator decided to keep the funds because the lawsuit is "ongoing" and because none of the sexual harassment allegations has been proven in court. "With regard to the pending harassment suit, as a general matter, the campaign assesses findings of fact in deciding whether to return contributions," Wolfson said.

When Hillary steals the nomination, Obama goes independent with about a Billion dollars from Bloomberg.

America will not have to endure government run “healthcare” with patients dying in line, waiting for tests and treatment.
America will not have it’s military destroyed and our homeland vulnerable to terrorists.
America will not be taxed into recession, by a government intent on taking money out of the hands of those who create the jobs and redistributing the money where it is least productive.
Hillary’s populist socialism would only destroy America, and I’m thankful we won’t have to suffer under that nightmare.

Very funny God. His side is probably splitting from laughing so hard.

I picture Al Bundy, gazing at the heavens with a wry smile, saying "Good one!"

It was of course private behavior, so should not be judged. If sex in the oval office is private behavior, does it not follow that sexual behavior in any office environment is private behavior?

Of course, it is all wrong, but how can she condemn what she condones in her own husband?

Feminists like liberals are hypocrites.

RINO's are starting to take the mindset that being a political hypocrite works for personal gain also apparently.

How is this different from Ron Paul accepting money from the Aryan Nation or from having the Nevada Brothel owners raising funds for him? His excuse of taking money raised from evil to do GOOD should also work here .... right?

>>“sexual harassment, and whose CEO is a disbarred lawyer” sounds like a normal democRAT guy to me:-()<<

Frankly politicians would probably have to return a large chunk of donations if they start judging the companies they work for like that.

would all Democrats have to return money from employees that work for Exxon? Or would Republicans return money from employees of companies that violate Republican principles (meaning of course those Republicans who can remember what Republican principles are).

I hear ya. I'm in Ohio and I'm voting for her Tuesday. I know a bunch of other folks here who are too.

Even on FR there are many who fail to see the logic in this. I guess they don't understand politics. When our enemy fights among themselves it's a good thing.
