The MSM is doing what they did to Dole. I had people that told me that Dole was pro-abortion, for goodness sake.

Does anyone here recall if these “eligibility questions” raised in the 2000 election? I wasn’t really following politics back then...

Fine. Lets play along. Disqualify him and put Fred Thompson in his place. I think a letter writing campaign to the NYT, requesting this story be placed on page one above the fold. should begin immediately!!
Someone call Fred and see if he's made plans for Thanksgiving.

once again, the story is not the story, it's the media. the media is the story. the media and its smoke and mirrors. That's the fun thing about this story - it's what it says about the NYT, not what it says about McCain.

You can’t be serious?
Instead you’d give your country to a socialist who will nationalize health care and, oh by the way, have you heard what he expects to do with the military? Cut this, cut that, cut the development of new weapsons systems ...and on and on.
McCain is a moderate- no one could ever think he’s conservative- but Obama in the White House will most assuredly give you a country you do not know anymore. That’s a guarantee.

In my mind an act of congress cannot ratify the constitution, or am I missing something?
To: SpaceBar
My friend, it doesn’t matter where he was born or what the law says. He’s running.

um you left out “at the time of adoption of this constitution”,(article 1 section 1) McCain isn’t quite that old, and that tends to indicate he must be natural born not just a citizen...
To: Kay Ludlow
Horse manure...McCain is a natural-born US citizen.

"
I think John McCain is going to be the 44th President, and that the Times knows it!" The truth is that whoever the Republican candidate is will be the next president.
From talking to workers on construction sites, there is no Dem candidate that stands a chance with enough of them to win. It appears that the Mexicans were hoping for Romney, but were afraid to register Rebublican, so they couldn't help him. They also seem to be ok with McSwine. There won't be any Mexicans or Jews voting for Osamabama.

Why did you join FR in 2001 and just pop up during election seasons? I checked your posting history. I think you’re a troll just trying to stir the pot.
To: HawaiianGecko
Interesting. Thanks for the info.

This again would show the democratic party trying to disenfranchised the military vote Only if there's anyone left in the military who believes in the democratic party. I think they've made their position perfectly clear over the last few years - they're the party of those who think the US of A is no good, and who are traitors to OUR cause of Liberty, and Justice for all.

Instead youd give your country to a socialist...No. My party decided to allow so many open primaries and frontloading with Liberal states that I have no one I can support in November.

But does someone born by a C-section count as "natural born"? LOL! As long as they weren't conceived in a test tube, I'd say they count.
