So sad. If I said what I wanted to say I’d be suspended.
How can three people die from two gunshots?
I don’t know if it’s the 24 hour news channels or not, but I don’t remember parents killing their own children as they do now. Not that long ago, the Smith woman in SC was shocking. Now it seems a daily news story, getting to be like LA police car chases.
May the souls of the little ones rest in peace.
Prayers
Multiple 24 hour ‘news’ channels + the web. Nothing bad goes unreported.
No wonder the Brits and French are afraid to visit the US.....
Prayers lifted.
The effect of Roe v. Wade and the Culture of Death.
I can't read too many more of these stories.
PRayers offered.
Yes, it breaks your heart. May God be with them.
I'd like to know why the Security Police felt they had to call in the local sheriff. They have jurisdiction, no matter that the base housing on Tinker may actually belong to the City of Oklahoma City, should the Air Force ever close the base. Right now, it's federal and Air Force jurisdiction. OSI could certainly handle the case.
Other than that, it's a very sad day indeed when a man is so desperate that he takes not only his own life, but that of his kids as well.
Well, that outcome is not so bad.
Fair question, which I wonder about also. Presumably, the Base Commander made the decision to involve the local sheriff. There have been several instances of local police/fire assistance being rendered to TAFB in recent memory.
Sheriff Whetsel is a good man, btw.
"Why are the kids always sacrificed? If you love them, why?"
Because you hate your, in this case, ex-wife more and you know that the loss of her children to death will be a living death for her.
