CLINTON STAFFERS CIRCULATE 'DRESSED' OBAMA Mon Feb 25 2008 06:51:00 ET
With a week to go until the Texas and Ohio primaries, stressed Clinton staffers circulated a photo over the weekend of a "dressed" Barack Obama.
The photo, taken in 2006, shows the Democrat frontrunner fitted as a Somali Elder, during his visit to Wajir, a rural area in northeastern Kenya.
The senator was on a five-country tour of Africa.
"Wouldn't we be seeing this on the cover of every magazine if it were HRC?" questioned one campaign staffer, in an email obtained by the DRUDGE REPORT.
In December, the campaign asked one of its volunteer county coordinators in Iowa to step down after the person forwarded an e-mail falsely stating that Barack Obama is a Muslim.
Obama campaign manager David Plouffe quickly accused the Clinton campaign Monday of 'shameful offensive fear-mongering' for circulating the snap.
Clinton campaign manager Maggie Williams responds: "If Barack Obama's campaign wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed."

I am worried about any socialist. I believe class warfare is one of the most destructive political strategies on the planet, and that envy is at the root of many, many problems. Having said that, no I am not an Obama supporter, but I am most definitely more worried about Hillary than I am about him. I believe he is a mix of some ambition, some good intention, some terrible judgment, some opportunism, some naivete, and just overall some good and some bad. Hillary, on the other hand, is a mix of narcissism and ambition without the mitigating influence of true empathy or conscience. She is much more scary. Hopefully we wind up with McCain who was definitely not in my list of top choices, but who is most definitely better than what the democrats are offering up.

Rail Odinga and Obama are first cousins, and part of the Luo tribe, which is Muslim. Odinga is the candidate who lost the recent Kenyan elections which incited more than 1,000 deaths. Obama made campaign appearances for Odinga, who promised to install sharia law in Muslim parts of Kenya. Here is a photo at a rally:

yeah but Muslims are our friends. Right up until they decide to blow us up.

You have to admit that he looks silly in this garb, not like his usual suave self. (Not because of any problem with the outfit, but because it looks so obviously like a “dress up” costume on him; it appears fake in a man who generally exudes sincerity. JMO)
(Note to self: burn all “unfortunate” Halloween costume photos before running for office, LOL!)

To tell you the truth, the only thing I saw in this photo to remind me of the Obamaniacs is the same glassy-eyed stare of both the sheeple and the crowd control officers.
As much as conservatives love Reagan (and he actually earned it, I've never seen anything on our side even approaching this. Is it because we have more brains?

Well isn't this interesting?
"I am a Christian, and I am a devout Christian. I believe in the redemptive death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I believe that that faith gives me a path to be cleansed of sin and have eternal life. But most importantly, I believe in the example that Jesus set by feeding the hungry and healing the sick and always prioritizing the least of these over the powerful. I didn't 'fall out in church' as they say, but there was a very strong awakening in me of the importance of these issues in my life. I didn't want to walk alone on this journey. Accepting Jesus Christ in my life has been a powerful guide for my conduct and my values and my ideals.
- Barack Obama, 23 Jan 2008 in Christianity Today
I don't agree with any of Obama's political views, but unless someone can effectively prove that he was lying when he stated the above, I will accept his profession of faith until it is proven otherwise.

That quote scares me. Sometimes I wonder if Obama isn’t the antichrist. I did a google search and found others out there have wondered the same thing. There is even a blog devoted to it.

Obviously this is all speculation which I hope to be untrue.

I know what you mean: the ONLY yard signs I see are for Obama or Ron Paul. What the heck is WITH people? I don’t know if I think Huckabee or Paul voters are more delusional on the pubbie side. At least none of the Obama supporters have tried to get in my face, because they would get an earful. . .

Why is this a “dirty trick”? It’s a legit photo, not a photoshop.

Obama's finest speeches do not excite. They do not inform. They don't even really inspire. They elevate. They enmesh you in a grander moment, as if history has stopped flowing passively by, and, just for an instant, contracted around you, made you aware of its presence, and your role in it. He is not the Word made flesh, but the triumph of word over flesh, over color, over despair. - Ezra Klein, The American Prospect Oh, good grief.

“Why is this a dirty trick? Its a legit photo, not a photoshop.”
‘Dirty trick’ is probably not the proper description, but distributing it around election time as some sort of smoking gun ‘proof’ that Obama is a Muslim is deliberately destructive politics. I don’t want him to be President, but to take that photograph as proof that Obama is a Muslim plant is ridiculous, and clearly it was meant to evoke that response. I can’t stand Pelosi, but the fact she wore Muslim garb when recently in the Middle East doesn’t make her a Muslim. There are a ton of instances from both sides of the aisle in which politicians have ‘dressed up’ situationally.
