A former Northern Illinois University newspaper reporter says the killer who gunned down five innocent students in an apparently unprovoked attack liked to study Arabic and the terror group Hamas.
"'Assalamo alikum,' he [Steve Kazmierczak] would say to me, which means 'peace be with you' in Arabic," wrote Rasmieyh Abdelnabi in an essay published in the Chicago Sun-Times.
"He would proceed to ask me how I was doing and what I was up to, all in Arabic with a thick accent and a huge, excited smile," she continued.
She said the two met in class at the university, took several classes together over the years, and periodically kept in touch when they didn't share classes.
"Our topics of choice: foreign policy and the Middle East. He would especially enjoy practicing his Arabic on me. In 2004, NIU decided to offer a year's worth of Arabic classes. Steve took both classes without hesitation, excited as could be," she wrote

Ron Paul thinks this sort of thing can be prevented by having brave mall cops protect us all. He’s made the claim that they have done a better job of preventing domestic terror attacks than our troops in Iraq.

Many universities and smaller colleges have a sort of Muslim outreach kind of facility somewhere on campus or nearby. Norman OK has one, I think it’s called the Islamic Society or something similar. The fella who blew himself up outside a major football game lived near it, and most who actually knew him (the papers later omitted that detail) said he had visited the place. His roommate certainly did.
So these fanatics seduce these kids, often providing them a sense of home and belonging they didn’t have before.
Now whether or not this guy at NIU was brought in this way, we don’t know—but it happens, and then it’s not mentioned when something like this shooting occurs.
It was another hidden terrorist attack.
Imagine what the MSM would do if they found out he had been listening to Rush Limbaugh or going to a Baptist Church or being in the NRA or being a freeper or homeschooling or was homeschooled or...well, you get the idea.

He was a sociology major. He probably just deleted the files, or at worst reformatted the drive. Neither really destroys the data contained on the drive. To do that you have to either write over every location on the drive, multiple times. Alternatively you can physically destroy the drive, and apply a large electromagnet to the platter.
