This whole thing goes to show how naive RINOs are:
They thought the MSM would continue to support McCain
They thought conservatives would just fall right in line
They thought McCain could win with “moderate” and independents supporting him...the people can barely support themselves.
They thought that Washington and New York represented the rest of the country
I’m sorry you’re “disappointed,” John. Here’s your problem: Conservatives are the only friends you can have from now on and you haven’t sent us a Christmas card lately.
We’re waiting.

No offense, but I believe you missed the entire point of my post. Permit me to explain.

In response to the N.Y. Times' hit piece on Senator John McCain, whom most on this forum know has a penchant for sucking up to the MSM along with many other RINOs in Washington, D.C., a very distraught woman called in to Rush Limbaugh's show, upset about the smear, stating McCain should fight back. Rush, in turn, stated what most of us already know: McCain likes to cozy up to the Times, and that the Senator is only getting the type of treatment normally reserved for Conservatives AND Republicans alike: Contempt.

So I say again, Rush was spot on.
