In the bigger picture you’re correct. Islam is expansionistic, violent, non-inclusive, and “incompatible” with many basic Western values (i.e. woman’s rights, law, freedom of expression, etc).
However, the idea that this justifies what happened in the Balkans at the hands of the Serbs a decade ago is absurd.
