Obama wins Hawaii caucuses
Chicago Tribune ^ | 20 Feb 2008 | Jason George

Maybe they should've called it " Hawaii 10-0," as Sen. Barack Obama now has ten straight wins after besting Sen. Hillary Clinton in Tuesday's Hawaii caucuses.

Neither Obama nor Clinton campaigned in person for Hawaii's 20 delegate votes, but both recently had surrogates in the 50th state -- Clinton employed daughter Chelsea and Obama had half-sister Maya Soetero-Ng appear on his behalf. Obama, who was born and spent part of his youth on Hawaii, ran radio ads in recent weeks stressing his "native son" credentials.

On Tuesday night, in an e-mail to his supporters before the Hawaii victory was announced, Obama said winning there could foretell future successes: "If we win in Hawaii, it will be ten straight victories -- a streak no one thought possible, and the best position we can be in when Ohio, Texas, Rhode Island and Vermont vote on March 4th."

It’s not a matter of “purity.”

It’s a matter of even RESEMBLING what it is McRino claims he represents....he doesn’t.

And if those in the Rat party feel that neither Clinton nor Obama “purely” represents the democrat values and principles...they will likely be happy with McRino.

That’s about it for two weeks. The press and the bloggers and those who should be on meds will be insane by the time the next actual election type event occurs.

Really. Do what you want.

Your vote won’t matter. Mine will. You might as well stay home.

But my vote DOES matter. I will be voting conservative.

Mine, and many others, will very likely send a message: we didn’t stay home and we didn’t vote RINO.

Staying home would allow the RINO’s to claim they weren’t voted for because of bad weather, disinterest, not liberal enough, blah, blah, blah.

It will matter....and if it takes them until 2012 to realize how much conservative votes do matter...then so be it.

If you want to send a message, call Western Union.

Votes matter in as much as they elect people. If you aren’t going to effect the outcome, you’re wasting your time. If you really want to punish the Republicans, vote Democrat. At least then you will have an effect.

A vote for McRino is a false mandate for McShamnesty, for McRino-Feingold, and for a host of other LIBERAL agendas.

So then you want Obama for President.

This isn’t a perfect world; at times one needs to be flexible.

Apparently this is a lesson you have yet to learn.

Your strawman argument ain’t going to work.

I’m voting conservative. Too bad McRino ain’t one, no matter how much he lies about it...he ain’t.

A vote for McRino is a false mandate for McShamnesty, for McRino-Feingold, and for a host of other LIBERAL agendas.

And what is a vote for Obama? Or Hillary?

If you and a friend of yours go and vote for some third party loser, how does the effect of that differ than if one of you went out and voted directly for the Democrat instead of McCain?

Do you think anybody is going to listen to your little "message"?

And you think voting for a RINO, who panders to illegals, rats, liberals, and anyone and everyone else but conservative Republicans means......conservatives, who he spit on, should vote for a turn-coat?

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Whatever it takes to get the Republican party back to being........Republican and not Democrat....maybe some RINO’s will jump ship and become what they are: Democrats, after their dishonest tactics finally don’t work any longer on conservatives to get them elected.

True conservative/Republicans will get the vote....

And then this country can turn right.....instead of moving left under RINO’s.

In order for your “strategy” to work, the Republicans have to lose. So why monkey around voting for some loser third party nobody. Why not just go right to the source and vote for the ‘Rat?

Nobody is going to be reading the tea leaves to figure out why you threw your vote away. You’ll just be lumped into the “Other” category. You will be “Misc.”

If you want the Republicans to lose so bad, vote for the ‘Rat, enjoy the Democrat administration and stop complaining.

If he wins, McCain will claim that he did it in spite of the conservatives and if he loses, he will blame it on the conservatives. No matter who the Dems nominate, Hillary or Obama, McCain is going to be the underdog. McCain is a dead man walking anyway.
