If you and a friend of yours go and vote for some third party loser, how does the effect of that differ than if one of you went out and voted directly for the Democrat instead of McCain?

I'm voting third party, and quite frankly I couldn't care whether anyone listens to my message. It will be done for personal reasons, not to make a statement.
