Maybe they should've called it " Hawaii 10-0," as Sen. Barack Obama now has ten straight wins after besting Sen. Hillary Clinton in Tuesday's Hawaii caucuses.
Neither Obama nor Clinton campaigned in person for Hawaii's 20 delegate votes, but both recently had surrogates in the 50th state -- Clinton employed daughter Chelsea and Obama had half-sister Maya Soetero-Ng appear on his behalf. Obama, who was born and spent part of his youth on Hawaii, ran radio ads in recent weeks stressing his "native son" credentials.
On Tuesday night, in an e-mail to his supporters before the Hawaii victory was announced, Obama said winning there could foretell future successes: "If we win in Hawaii, it will be ten straight victories -- a streak no one thought possible, and the best position we can be in when Ohio, Texas, Rhode Island and Vermont vote on March 4th."

LOL!
“The Dem power brokers aren’t going to foist Hillary on the party over Obama because of race alone. They’ll do it mainly because she has establishment power over them. Whether it’s FBI files or favors or because she knows who they slept with last year.
So it’s not just black voters who will feel, and be, disenfranchised. Obama’s lead over Clinton cuts across all demographics. White folks who’ve voted for him will be at least as pissed off as black folks.
Young voters will be especially annoyed, since for a lot of them this is their first experience with the American political system. I don’t know whether they’ll feel the pain strongly enough to riot, or just shrug it off as politics as usual and go back to staring at MySpace.”
We shall see. I don't trust the Clintons....and their dead voters....and the illegals they have and continue to pander to.......nevertheless, I am enjoying watching her get batted 'round, quite hard.
I’m good with that, too!
And me as well. Some say though (and I can't believe I'm actually beginning to go along with their thoughts) that obama's worse than shillery....from what I've been reading on him...unbelievable as it could even sound....they may be right. Would that all these commie/socialist liberals have a stake put through all their black hearts.
OK. Put down the knife and step away from the bathtub...
Bambi is bad, but Mrs. Clinton has to be worse. Furthermore, I do not buy the argument that Bambi would be a tougher opponent in the General Election. Mrs. Clinton can’t use her nukes now, because she is fighting against an untouchable Democrat. She will not be so constrained in the General Election against John McCain.
As far as who would be a worse President, I know Mrs. Clinton. I am willing to take my chances with Bambi.
lol. I'm being series. : )
There is much about Obama that is every bit as bad as shillery...and every day I'm learning more and more. They are, imho, at the very least, equally bad (I say this because what I've already learned about Obama is coming very close to what we already know about shillery. Did you know that he has been involved with communists? I mean, closely? This was in an article I just read yesterday.) Then there's his upbringing/ties to Islam. I know that Halgr also has concerns about Obama....and just so you know, I loathe, absolutely loathe shillery...
DLC = Democrats Loving Corruption.
I think Obama is easier to beat then Mrs. Clinton, because he will have a harder time seizing the center. Also, I think his opposition to the Iraq War will hurt him, because people are not ready for somebody that weak on National Security, and that weakness will play into his generally not being ready for prime time.
It’s not a shoe-in, but at least we have a shot. I really think Mrs. Clinton would bury us in the Fall, if she were the nominee.
The sad thing is, honestly, I think we’re screwed no matter who wins this time.
It’s more than sad, actually. It’s horrific.
There are degrees of screwed.
There is the McCain screwed, where he sells us down the river on immigration and expansion of health care, but holds the line on the War on Terror.
Then there is the screwed/blued/tattood Obama screwed, where he throws open the border, grants amnesty to everyone, nationalizes the health care system and pulls out of Iraq on Day 1.
Pick the least level of screwed and vote accordingly. That’s what I will be doing.
I’m willing to bet that half of the people that voted for Barack simply voted for him because he’s a “local boy” from Hawaii.
I already decided I’m not voting for someone who’s into screwing us: RINO’s or liberals “R”/”D”, so...all those options are out.
I’m voting conservative, and if that means “write in,” so be it.
Then don’t come bitchin’ to me about President Obama.
If half the people who voted for Obama had stayed home, Obama would still have beaten Hillary in Hawaii by 17 points.
If you wish to vote for a liberal, that’s upon you.
As for me a mine, we vote for conservatives, and only conservatives. The line is drawn in the sand. The GOP and the RINOs can do what they need to do to revert back to the principles upon which they were founded, or can continue running left.....without their principles and the conservatives they have abandoned.
Your choice. But when President Obama does something stupid, your principled vote for a third party loser will be cold comfort.
And the GOP will likely take it to heart when they see and finally feel the devastation they have created by abandoning the very principles that once set them apart from democrats and liberals.
Book her, Bam-O.
Whatever. Don’t hold your breath.
Do you suppose all Democrats are happy with the ideological purity of their nominee?
