You are so right. The evil that we face is the logical result of the ineptitude of GWB.
I agree. Democrats are berserk over him. Pray for the military...
I’d like to laugh, but I think she and hubby are on the fast track to breakdowns. I’ve never heard a presidential candidate say that he/she must be elected till now.The damage these two can and will do when faced with defeat is a bit frightening to envision. They are not above dividing, not only their party, but the nation by race.
RE: Florida. The difference could be that many Jewish Democrats in South Florida (and Palm Beach County has more Jewish folks per capita than any county in the nation) are saying that they would go for McCain if their girl Hillary loses. Lots of Hillary signs all over Boca (where my parents live), but none for Obama during the last primary. I will assume that the difference is demographics.
I think Obama campaign pins will be the Aids ribbons of 08. Everyone will wear one...lok for them at the Oscars on Sunday...and one election day, everyone who is anyone will chat (afterwards) of how it felt to vote for ‘hope.’ Thousands of newborn baby Barracks (or Barrax...for the uber trendsters) will be named.
I don’t see it going all the way to PA. She will be out of the gas on March 5. Nobody can lose ten contests in a row and make that kind of comeback. She is still doing a little better than Obama’s EMK did in 1980 though.
That is the way I see it too.
“In regards to McCain polling better against Hillary instead of Obama, there was a recent Florida poll which showed McCain beating Hillary in The Sunshine State by 6 points. The same poll showed McCain beating Obama by 16 points, if the election was held today.”
Well thats good to hear, because Obama could be the one. Though I am certain Hildabeast will fight to the bitter end for sure.
People won’t know it’s a radical agenda. Most don’t eve know what an “agenda” is, much less the word “radical”. And after the failure of GWB many want “radicalism” of some kind.
Ed Rendell, the Gov. of PA is a FOB (friend of Billary). Fast Eddie will deliver PA for the Clintons. Bank on it.
Are you serious? They would vote McCain over Obama?
Class warefare on steriod is cute, but the “little people” seem to warm to him, don’t they?
I was just reading you post and what really struck me for the first time in months since taking note of O was how his speech has began to wear on me.
I by no means am a fan of him but I have been impressed with his ability to speak and rally the audiences.
Tonight for the first time he seemed somewhat stale and automated, less real for lack of a better word.
His delivery just seems more and emptier with lots of manufactured emotion but very little substance.
The novelty has just begun to wear off for me. Your thoughts?
Hillary only has 2 ways to get back into this at this point.
1) She has to find a way to get Larry Sinclair and his limo sex & drugs story in the news without making it appear as if she introduced it.
2) “Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat” will need to become her strategy with respect to Florida, Michigan & the super delegates.
Anything short of that, she’s done. Crying will not work anymore at this point and putting Bill in the hospital won’t cut it either.
Oh, man... the Oscars. Thanks for the reminder. We'll need to do a live thread on FR to keep track of all the pro-Obama comments (and to keep track of who's fainting for Barack and who's not).
“Just remember this: Hillary has voted with Bush on the war on terror...OBAMA has not. In fact, he voted agains EVERY security measure to protect this country”
Regrettably, it is becoming more and more apparent as this election season progresses, that a sizable portion of the American electorate (swept up in Obamania) doesn’t give a damn about what he voted for or against.
Security don’t count for nuthin’ with dem folks, so long as they’ve got “hope”!
- John
Actually Clooney will win and seg Darfur to Obama...(I might have to add nausea to my fainting issues).
