Obama's won lots of primaries & caucuses, but those aren't general elections. I stated that blacks have only on a few rare occasions been elected to a major statewide office in any state. That means elected in a general election where voters of all political persuasions are participating. There's no doubt that Obama can win liberal white votes anywhere in the country in a Democrat primary or caucus. What I'm doubting is his ability to win independents, and I'm also suggesting that some lower income white Democrats won't vote for him, in the general election for president.
“I think this wins the Calvin Coolidge prize for economy in posting.”
lol
Go Hillary! Lick Bush!
Exactly.
Amen!
I think he usually goes on until somebody faints from boredom.
If I had seen Hillary was that well stacked, I would have voted for her.
Outstanding commentary at #521 to go with your previous oustanding commentary much earlier in the thread.
Love the tag line. Hillary couldn’t make $5 servicing truckers on Route 1/9.
Oh you are right...Barry is a rock star....oh no....(PaMom is overcome and has to put her head between her knees)...
ANYBODY but Hillary...
OK thanks for the info, yes those are Hillary Clinton main supporters.
Who knew? There is a Che store (I gotta get out on the net more...)
Yes.
Scorsese and Pesci would be proud.
“”Many Hillary supporters really dislike Obama.””
Maybe so, but you can bet they will get behind him if he’s becomes the Nominee. Rats tend to stick together.
And McCain doesn’t have a chance against Obama - a cranky, angry ole man Vs Smooth talker? Secondly, Obama has a CULT following!
The very fact that it is an emotional election (for the emotional dems) means we are not in trouble. The infatuation with O will fade in the nine months to come. O’s slide will be accelerated by: Fond Remembrances of Che (or similar rookie mistakes), O’s way way left radical and wild ideology, his undeniable Islamic ties and sympathies (his brother wants to cast off European poison in America), and his obnoxious, loud-mouthed, uncouth, spoiled, uppity, elitist, Hillary would-be spouse, all nipping at his facade on a daily basis.
Reality returns. It always does; always has for me. One moment, and the dream is over. Wake up and get ready for work/school. The sun is shining to welcome the day.
I just hope the dream continues long enough to get rid of H, who in my opinion is the biggest threat to our Republic bar none, foreign or domestic.
Even if O wins the General, which he won’t, he’ll be weak. We can elect a good Congress this time if we don’t let the “disdain for McClain” attitude keep us home and keep us from voting for some damn fine candidates on our side.
I am very cheerful tonight viewing and passing right by this democrat car wreck. I am glad that the dems are in the process of blowing it, losing an election they could not lose, and nominating an individual who will not be elected President anytime soon. Although the country has moved left a little, it is not left enough to elect someone whose record is as liberal as Senator Obama’s. Or HRC’s for that matter. I think the pubs will win against all odds because the dems are ideologues, socialists, and dreamers.
Having said that, I like him well enough. I’d rather have a beer with him than Uncle Mac. If I had a beer with HRC, I’d probably quit drinking and I want to avoid that dead end. But O’s got a bad case of being too earnest. Now there’s trouble with that.
The thing that irks me is the utter stupidity of the dems’ group think mindset. They are such whiny pathetic fools, always trying to appear politically correct. Makes me sick. I would vote for the right woman or the right black or the right Hispanic. O and H are not in that group. Not even close.
Long way to go; no worries.
